You might notice that some contestants in this season's Conference League had to play their home games not in the usual home grounds. Clubs like Vikingur, Noah FC, Petrocub Hincesti, and Larne had to play at their national football stadiums as their original ones didn't met the UEFA standards or to accomodate more home fans. Dinamo Minsk had to play their home games in Azerbaijan due to Belarus' tie with Russia during the ongoing invasion of Ukraine. The New Saints didn't play in Oswestry, but they used Shrewsbury Town's home ground in order to accomodate more home fans. Astana FC had to play their games outside Astana Arena as that stadium was completely outdated. Also, the Wroclaw Stadium is the Conference League Final venue this season, but sadly Slask Wroclaw didn't play in this competition, unlike Bayern Munich (for the case of Champions League) and Athletic Club (for the case of Europa League) where their own home grounds will host the respective club competition's final this season.

Belarus suspension of playing in their home has happened way before Russia invaded Ukraine. The issue with Belarus is that once they stopped an airplane going through Belarus and then took out a belarrusian journalist going from Greece to Lithuania so a lot of airlines decided to not travel there anymore until they are sure about travelling there.

во первых, устарел во вторых, зачем правительство хамаса напало на израиль, зная что ничего хорошего из этого не выйдет и видимо плюя на собственное население хамас - террористы, мирные жители - жертва, израиль - козел отпущения (осуждаю многое что они делают в палестине, но не они это начали) а россия сама напала на украину и получила за это бан везде где возможно (конечно российские спортсмены, да и вообще все насление ни в чем не виновато, их не спрашивали чего они хотят)

@@disk2047 это все здорово, но причем здесь мирняк? вернее их специальное тотальное уничтожение! Мне всё равно на Палестину и Израиль, но терпеть не могу двойные стандарты! А США напало на Ирак , убило почти миллион человек, или они тоже от террористов защищались? На другом конце планеты , их 4то то никто нигде не запретил, себе то не ври! И там бомбят, и там бомбят, и там и там мирняк умирает, просто Израиль это делает с разрешения США! И на Украине не террорист, ок, а марши нацистов в Киеве, а не конституционное свержение власти, у них есть конституция и там написано как можно убирать президента! Но вам не понять , террорист всегда тот , на кого покажет США, хотя сами они главный террорист планеты

I don't get the point of this competition when most of the clubs aren't allowed to play in their own stadium.

And for the case of Dinamo Minsk, it was a geopolitical situation (Belarus supporting Russia during the invasion of Ukraine).

@@TH1RDP3RSON And don't forget the Israeli teams. Absolute disgrace to see them still playing in European club competitions. Last season, both Maccabi clubs (Tel Aviv and Haifa) were still in the Conference League RO16, having almost knocked both eventual finalists (Olympiacos and Fiorentina) out of the competitions, with the former bottling a 4-1 lead in the 2nd leg. Israel had just committed war crimes worse than Russia. Most of these victims were the childs in Gaza.

Stop saying Belarus is banned from playing at their home because of Russia and Ukraine. The ban of playing Belarus started when Belarus airport said that there was a bomb in a plane going from Greece to Lithuania and it was a complete lie to arrest the journalist Roman Protasevich thats why many airlines stop going to and through Belarus. Even before the invasion, Belarus and Belarrusian teams were playing in Russia or Armenia. Inform yourself before saying stop that is not true. This happened since 2021.

Due to the country's involvement in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Belarusian teams are required to play their home matches at neutral venues and behind closed doors until further notice.Therefore, Dinamo Minsk will play their home matches at Sumgayit City Stadium, Sumgait, Azerbaijan, instead of their regular stadium, Dinamo Stadium, Minsk.
