My Doctor sent me to a nutritionist as I told her I have started on Carnivore. As I walked to speak with the nutritionist there sat an almost 300 lb. Person telling me to eat white bread, white rice & occasional pudding along with chicken & salad & zero soft drinks 😡 I absolutely walked out.

I sooooo wish I could have seen your Dr’s face when you said that!!! When my 30-something nutritionist told me I needed to follow the My Plate model and eat no more than between 1200-1500 calories per day I tried, for the second time during that conversation, to explain I’d been doing essentially that very thing MY ENTIRE ADULT LIFE and I still ended up 100lbs overweight and full of a laundry list of pains and problems. I would have made more progress talking to the wall behind her. I walked out of her office, politely read her papers, made my notes, and threw them away. I did go to the cardiologist as she requested just to try and spark a real conversation. The cardiologist freaked out, sent me for a ct scan. When my score came back as zero, she sent me a “congratulations” form letter and I never heard anything from her again. Makes me sad for all these Dr’s future patients.

I was labeled as being bipolar with severe depression, anxiety, mood swings etc. My doctors wanted to put me on all kinds of medications, including SSRI’s. Then one day about a year ago, I stumbled onto your channel and a few other Holistic practitioners and started researching everything you all were teaching us. One year later I’m 💯 free of all meds. First time in 40 years I’ve felt and acted normal. I cannot express my gratitude for all the men and women who refuse to sell out to big Pharma and tell the truth no matter it costs them. I have a similar story, after a conversation with a nurse practitioner, she said I was bi-polar and referred me to a psychiatrist. He said his job was to monitor my meds, if I needed to talk about things, I would need to see another professional so,I was on meds 3xday, and soon I wanted to reduce the meds. The doctor who prescribed them advised me, if I felt like unliving myself, to call a hospital or his office, so he knew the end result. I spent a week in a voluntary admittance hospital to redirect my thoughts, while they prescribed other meds. This allowed me to get off those. My self diagnosis, stress! Never, never, will I take another “anti” med.

Sounds like he was correct in his admission, that he could not get you well. No pill he/she could have given you would cure you, because there was no new healthy state for it to move you to. Pills never cure a condition, they help your body get to it's normal state. But sadly the SAD had made your body's normal state a sick one. Your diet change is moving you towards a healthy state.

I used to be in the British Army. Unlike the US Army, we didn’t have industrial machines to wash our weapons, so we cleaned rifles by hand. The process took 2-3 hours if you were well-practised; using brushes, abrasive pads and oil. It was well-known that coca cola was incredibly effective at cleaning dense carbon build ups that even hard wire brushes couldn’t clean.

It is also very effective on removing battery corrosion in the Auto world. When I was little that was a trick my dad told me about. Over the years I had a few others bring it up. Another bit now of useless knowledge is that Soda was originally made as a medication and that was why the fountains started in drug stores. Coke was originally made to break up kidney stones and the reason Cocaine was an ingredient was for pain management. It's interesting to see just how perverted something can become when the business model is the love of money.

Pop shouldn't be allowed, I buy and cook whole food meals for my family, I'm learning how to make our own sauces and dressings, 2 months ago I cut all artificial dyes out of my kids diet, when I seen the difference that made so fast I started cutting sugar, reading ingredients learning about what the ingredients are and how they affect our bodies, cutting out processed foods, and juices, we only have water and milk in my house by choice!! It's literally poison I refuse to buy the crap or put it in my kids body!! It's been rough, it's a learning curve for everyone in my house and creating boundaries around the foods and things their pap brings for the kids and he is a HUGE coke drinker that's ALL he drinks, no wander his health is so bad and then he whines and cries but all that candy and pop no wander!! He refuses to see fact, he's disrespected me n brought kool-aid after I told him 3 times no dyes no sugar so that juice got dumped. Bet he won't do it again. I'm so tired of these big corporations pushing their narrative out when it's so false

As a physician, I did my best to encourage good nutrition, but food is soo addictive that patients would rather take a pill than change their diet. All physicians are aware that junk food is bad, but realize early on that few patients will change their eating habits. That being said, doctors are indoctrinated in medical schools that drugs are the way to treat everything. They call it “the standard of care” and physicians under the umbrella of corporations are required to follow the standard of care, and it’s monitored through the computer. Doctors are the unwitting victims in the current scenario. They truly believe they are doing the right thing, especially when they can’t get patients to change their diets. Unfortunately my awakening came in retirement when I finally had the time to take a deep dive into nutrition and health. I am very angry at the greed and corruption. Luckily we’re in “The Great Awakening” where corruption is being exposed.

Yes, people are unwilling to change diets unless faced with a health matter or over obesity. People have the mindset, "well, I'm gonna die from something, why not enjoy life" mentality. Children though are the ones who don't truly understand because we pass down bad habits, only to realize in our adulthood how badly we messed up our children.

Dr. Berry, you tell 'em. I was working in a nursing home around 2005 and had a thin, type one diabetic whose sugars were out of control. I asked him if he'd be willing to eat more protein and less carbs to see if it would help. For the next three days at each meal I replaced the carbs with extra servings of protein and we immediately had control of his blood sugars. I went to the facility nutritionist and showed her my documentation. She said he needed the nutrition from the carbs and that we couldn't change his diet. I was incredulous.

I'm 57 and my dad was retired military working civil service when I was a kid. Mom was a housewife. We only ate out _maybe_ five times a year. All of us were thin... Everyone I went to school with was thin... Thin was our normal. I only remember one overweight kid in my whole school. Anyway, Mom made wonderful home cooked meals, birthday cakes, holiday feasts. We ATE! Dad put in a prize winning, backyard vegetable garden with probably 30 different vegetables. We had strawberries, raspberries and fruit trees. Even at my Grandma's suburban home, as well. When we got home from school each day, Mom would make a snack. Perhaps a fruit platter with apple and orange slices and some peanuts in a bowl resting in the center. Or ham and cheese on crackers with a pickle. Regular dessert was jello, pudding or coffee cake. Holiday dessert was elaborate. All had Real Butter. An average supper might be meatballs, unpackaged seasoned rice, squash and broccoli or pot roast with potatoes, onion, celery, carrots and a little turnips cooked in the pot with biscuits and corn on the side. We were allowed one coke on Saturday evening with popcorn while Carol Burnett aired. "Mom, can I have my Coke now? PLEEEAASE"?? "No. It's not five o'clock yet". lol Those dang Coketails🍸 lol Why weren't any of us kids and grownups in Oklahoma overweight? I have noooo idea.

When I told her I was trying to lose some weight, she said “that won’t help you that much, you really need to take this pill. “I stopped taking the drug because I was waking up with headaches and decided to try carnivore. I’ve already lost 12 pounds, I feel great and have so much energy and much less inflammation. I’m going to pass along as much information as I can find on this subject of proper nutrition and I’m going to be looking for a new doctor.

I think I’ve said this somewhere else but when I taught school, part of my job was “cafeteria duty.” Initially, lunches had fresh veggies and baked chicken, the oh-so-yummy fresh rolls and some sort of dessert-usually ice cream or an orange popsicle. In the latter part of my career, the lunches became 80-90% carbs (pizza with a roll and dessert) and the desserts were outrageously huge. A slice of cake would be 4-5 inches square. I questioned the cafe staff about it and was told that they were required by the higher ups to serve it. Notably this was in a school serving largely underprivileged kiddos. Made me sick!

Like Calley, for the last 20 years (i stepped away from corporate America and went into STEM education) I have made it my life's mission to educate everybody that I can. BTW, I am thrown this argument all the time: you are trying to take away the only food affordable but do you know that a whole rotisserie chicken from Walmart is cheaper than 2 Big Macs. When an order comes through my line I can almost always tell if a customer will be paying for their order with food stamps by the amount of soda, snack cakes, candy, and other snack foods that are in the order. And to answer Dr Berry's question, *NO* I would not have soda be food-stamp-able. I was thinking this before I was following Keto. Food Stamps should pay for food. I would think it would be very beneficial if they reclassified certain foods as "snack foods" and not be covered by food stamps. Food stamps should pay for food.

I've seen in Stores their grocery carts full of processed foods , I'm 58 years old , raised 3 children never thank goodness needed foodstamps, but even if I had . I wouldn't be giving anyone not even any of my loved ones the junk thats out there !

My grandparents immigrated from Mexico and had 7 children and they basically cooked every meal. They were poor, very poor but ny grandfather refused to get food stamps. Call it pride but I think he knew it was the right thing for him and his family. It motivated him. My grandparents are a lot of pork and beef and chicken, cooked with lard, cheese etc… the thing was they are almost the same things every week and month. Their diet was very consistent and involved very little processed food.

As a young single mother (left abusive husband) I ended up accepting food stamps (I fought It as long as I could), it wasn’t much, I admit that to make it stretch as far as I could with mostly pastas and processed junk that “filled the stomach“-it also fed my addiction. I also purchased a lot of soda, my son didn’t get that. It was cheap then. I didn’t know better. I didn’t know that was the cause of my chronic pain and depression. I know now. Parents need to be educated properly to make the best choices possible for the health of their children. This lifestyle is possible even on food assistance programs if they are properly taught.

I am not in the medical profession, just a middle class, middle aged woman that started asking questions during COVID. Why was being 50+ a co-morbidity? This is what started me on my now 9 month journey to educate myself on how America is poisoning its citizens and people around the world, yes, you Coke! Then I started learning about chronic illness, metabolic syndrome, big pharma, Real Food, fiber and so much more. I was on my way to being a middle aged chronically sick American, but I chose to radically change what I was feeding my body, brain and gut. I am now 35 lbs lighter and I do not remember feeling this good in my 20's, I will be 60 this year! How can someone like myself help get this message out? Talking about snap & wic...when I lived in California and my kids were little we had a period of needing to use those programs and to get our wic & snap we had to attend a 6 week nutrition class that started with don't waste your food stamps on sugar stuff and how to get the most bang for your buck with a "balanced" diet with the food pyramid, cooking, how to stretch your food with meal planning etc., but it was a good class plus they actually added credit at farmers markets which would double the benefit amount used at the market, and now it is obviously different. Unfortunately it could be a good program.🙈🙉🙊 Crazy times we are in.

About 10 years ago I learned the banks that manage the EBT/food stamps debit cards profit billions from the transaction fees. Where there are huge profits the only incentive is to enroll more people on the cards. If the cards limited purchases to unprocessed whole foods, how many wouldn't bother to enroll? In another article the whole welfare program is a financial leaky bucket where 1/3 of every $1.50 taxed actually reaches the recipient (that article was also about 10 years ago). Anecdotally, I was in the grocery line behind a white guy wearing a dealership mechanic uniform. He had a few food items, bottle of wine and case of beer on the counter. He pays for the food with the food stamp card (says to the cashier it was his wife's card) and pays cash for the alcohol. Of course I'm thinking "you could have skipped the alcohol and bought your own food". The abuses of the welfare program by government, corporations, and individuals have ruined a program most would support for those in genuine need.

This is very interesting and I’m not a bit surprised. I was born in ‘51. I had a wicked sweet tooth. My mother and grandmothers continually warned me that I would get diabetes if I kept up my sugar consumption. It took me many years and many sessions with a naturopathic to realize my mother was right. I never developed diabetes but came damned close. A number of years ago I decided to cut sugar and grains out of my diet and felt much better as a result. Last year (2022) I spent 38 days in the hospital (after cutting out all the crap out of my diet but not yet carnivore) and I must say the food I was served was the worst I’ve experienced in a long time. It was almost 80% processed foods! I have now slid completely over into the carnivore diet and have great hopes for my future health as I intend to live a great deal longer and in much better health.

There is no reason why there should not be rules / guidelines to using SNAP benefits. They do not allow you to buy toilet paper, alcohol or tobacco so it would just make sense to exclude any processed foods/sodas. Same here in UK. Had a dental check up a few days ago and got told to switch to a toothpaste with fluoride. Nope. I'll change my dentist rather than switch to a fluoride toothpaste.

Sounds more than just tied down, more like on the band wagon. Some of them are evil, and don't have any kindness towards those who don't conform. They believe in the money god, and the depopulation agenda. If he had a heart, he would of congratulated you and moved on. It's not like the medical association is watching, and listening in on his practice.

Very interesting. I had my hygienist tell me my teeth were in much better condition than the previous visit and I told her I was using baking soda with peppermint oil stirred in. She actually commended me and said the peppermint oil was very helpful for the mouth and only asked if I had any sensitivity from the baking soda (I do not).

I use Tom's toothpaste without fluoride. Fluoride causes fluoridis (i think are cavities). I'm sure it causes other things as well? IMHO

My son was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and we went to a pediatric diabetes clinic once per month. At some point the nutritionist and nurse talked about his Cholesterol was high and suggested that he eat low or non fat foods or go on cholesterol medication. I asked if he should eat more carbohydrates or more meat. Their answer was no. I then asked where he would get his calories since he was a growing teenager. Their response was to look at me with a blank stare. I said that there was only protein, fat and carbs to get your calories from. Nobody was able to give me an answer.

Thank you Dr Berry for bringing on this guest. HE is so passionate and passion is actually what sells. I know the stuff he's saying but I'm just so fascinated and drawn in by his passion that I'm hearing it on a different level. I myself have never eaten any of this junk cuz my mom was a proper Mom. SHE was from the greatest generation and she cooked from scratch absolutely everything we ate. SHE did buy sodas as a treat and my sisters who always had weight problems always wanted their soda treat but I didn't want my soda. So I just gave it to my sisters. Mom didn't know they were bad but she knew they weren't milk or juice which had nutritional value. . WE NEVER had junk food back in the day. For the early boomers born in the early part of the Boomer's era, there wasn't a lot of junk food around. IF we had chips, it was a tiny little bag in my lunch box. WE NEVER ate the school lunches which probably were s*** then too. My question is -- which countries do NOT have obesity, especially in their youth? All the English-speaking countries (ie UK Canada Australia New Zealand) have extreme rates of obesity. Apparently they rival America in obesity and some of them might even exceed America! MY guess is that Germany would NOT make that list. Maybe Italy but I heard they have an increasing obesity rate. THEN there's the French who really value food. I saw a video on what the kids eat in the school lunches and they were fantastic. I would like to be a little French 6 year old and eating those lunches. I used to make fun of the French because I went there when I was very young, still a teenager, to visit & I noticed they thought food was God. BUT you know what, they aren't that far off. I think actually, they were spot on.😊 IF one investigates further regarding Europe, u learn they do NOT allow GMO foods. ALSO each country has a list of forbidden ingredients and if we were to follow that list, we would increase greatly the quality of the food offered in our country. In addition the wheat grown in Europe is NOT GMO, nor does it have glysophate covering it. Tocchange our wheat seed used and its manner of production would cause a great change, as well as controversy, and the powers that be, would come down hard. BUT this is going to the root cause of the problem which is the only solution. Good luck 🍀🍀 🍀 & thanks.

I never watch 1 hour long videos but I did today. I have chills. Thank you, I am a mom of a 2 year old with a husband addicted to sugar, I am terrified. Times are scarey but this was empowering.

Uh better than being addicted to drugs that'll kill him for sure. Keep feeding him healthy food. That'll help fill him up so he doesn't eat too much sugar

People addicted to sugar have the sugary food in addition to anything else they are eating. My daughter used to find dozens of empty cola cans under the car seats and tossed in the back seat. We are talking about an adult with means to go where they want and purchase what they want. It may take longer for them to die than a drug addict but guess who will have to nurse them as they die slowly of blindness, kidney disease, amputations, heart disease, mental issues, etc. And, if he's setting an example for your child, you may watch them repeat this terrible scenario. Would you tolerate a drug addict or an alcoholic just because they are more likely to die sooner than a sugar addict?

I'm glad that people like this man and Dr. Malhotra get air time. Everyone should at least hear this message. Whether they choose to go down the rabbit hole and change their diet and lifestyle, or keep doing what they're doing, it's up to them.

My sister in law was on foodstamps for years. She never bought food with her foodstamp money. She only bought junk. Her kids ate ice cream for breakfast. They never tasted vegetables. Ever. My sister in law has heart attacks and diabetes. She will not change her lifestyle. Her kids have a lot of health problems, but her daughters are smart enough to change and have started eating healthy as adults.
