A very interesting conference. There is A VERY IMPORTANT POINT that unfortunately Walid Shoebat didn't make when confronted (1:14) by a muslim reading a verse of the Qur'an (s49:11). The point is that this "good" verse, like a few similar ones we can find in the Qur'an are only valid for the members of the muslim community, for the "believers", the "faithfuls" !!! Outside of it, the Qur'an values and legitimize violence, contempt, subjugation of the "infidels". This is also true of the jewish community. In other words, the Golden rule is only valid for the jews between themselves and for the muslims between themselves. There is a strong US versus THEM mentality strengthened in Judaism and Islam by the barrier of obligations, prohibitions, taboos, on so on : a barrier of irrational and arbitrary prohibitions that divides and constantly generates conflicts and clashes. I became alert about the jewish problem after reading Israel Shahak's book Jewish History - Jewish Religion where he reveals what the Talmud says about non-jewish. And I discovered that it is the SAME THING with Sharia !!!! This is quite understandable if you consider that basically islam is a reaffirmation of Judaism against Christianity. To talk about Judeo-Christianity is misleading at least on a sociological level. It is more accurate to talk about Judeo-Islamism for these two religions have the same vision of the social order and human relations. On the opposite, Christianity fights against this US versus THEM mentality by eliminating the barrier of prohibitions and obligations. Christianity broadens the notion of "prochain" to include all human beings. In other words, the Golden rule is stretched to all human beings. This why Christianity is truly universal whereas islam is fundamentally imperialist and colonizer. aiming at replacing the legal systems of any other societies by its own law (the Sharia).
