I started playing slay the spire about 2 years ago when dead cells announced a crossover with slay the spire, and I gave it a try, now I'm addicted,have about 200 hours and have unlocked all unlockables,win 100+ times,have almost all achievement and still love to play slay the spire every day

Yah, I platinum trophied the ps4 version before I bought the PC version and started playing with different mods and such. Now I've got almost all the achievements on PC too.

a friend of mine did the same with slay the spire and ended up "enjoing" a month of streams of the game from me because i was in quarantine because my father got Covid-19 (it was june 2021) and i needed something and someone to keep me sane since i never had covid but i still ended up only in my room like confinement for the entire month, so yeah i understand you a lot

Yah, it really hit my life right at a time I needed that strategy deckbuilding fix and didn't have an outlet for it. Still coming back almost daily.

I don't think I am ever quitting, although after some 400 hours in, I'm taking a break. From playing. Not from watching Baalorlord and Jorbs, I'm not stopping that.

My best advice with Ironclad for heart runs is you need to have a draw engine going. Whether that's through exhaust or self damage, you need to keep cards flowing into your hand to beat the heart because you won't have enough with just a 5 card draw.

@@Gamalahalaff it's a PC mod called Googly eyes. To add mods you need to first install base mod, then you can add others

Slay the spire is good - it's the OG rogue-like deck builder - but Monster Train is better.

nah dude,slay the spire is the best,have over 700+ card,120+ relic,which can be used to create amazing combinations and synergies,making each run feel unique and have high replayability

I really enjoy Monster Train as well! I think in some ways monster train has a higher difficulty curve once it ramps up due to the huge decks and larger variation.

@@Roguelike_Enjoyer There is far greater deck and play variety in Monster Train. It's not even a question.

@@3hourgames I agree there is somewhat a higher difficulty curve as you get into the covenant 25 runs but I found it easier to deal with than Slay the Spire because of the way Monster Train constantly rewards you for playing - from card unlocks to aesthetic border types etc etc. There's just less of the feeling you're banging your head against a wall or that your run's success or failure was based on RNG.
