I appreciate getting a glimpse of your life and for being vulnerable. There were a lot of things I felt, but I'm unable to put them into words. I don't fully understand what you're truly going thru, but I respect and admire your openness, resilience, and all your efforts. Thanks for sharing, thanks for caring, and wishing the best for you and your family ♥️

Joyce, you’re amazing. I’m a NP but I’ve watched your vlogs & followed your journey over the years because even though we’re in different field of medicine, I’ve found that you are so relatable to me and I appreciate your honesty & vulnerability! You’re such an inspiration to me and your hardwork motivates me daily! Thank you for being on this platform & inspiring women in medicine ❤😊

I’m a dentist and I DON’T want to have it all 😭 my husband and I want to have kids in the next years, I want to be fully present for them and I don’t know what to do. Not to mention I moved to a new country and have to do licensing all over again. 😔 I want to honor my career and what my parents put me to school for. But I want to BE there for my own growing family. 💔 In every profession its either women can have a career in their 20s, only to have it stunted in their 30s when they’re in the child nurturing phase (so important) and when they reach school age, will it be easy to reenter the workforce? 😔 I’m so sorry for your loss Dr. Joyce, my husband’s sister was stillborn. My mother in law is a general surgeon. You could imagine my predicament. I am with you in this journey, I’ve been watching your practice ownership vlogs back when I was single!

Thank you for being so real and vulnerable 🤍 I felt the same in so much of what you said. Being mother deeply changed my life and me as a person. We give SO much already as dentists and then becoming a mom to someone it’s like - when does our cup get to become filled? When do you have time? Priorities are rearranged and you figure it out but it’s a constant battle sometimes it seems. Sending love Joyce xox
