Esther Dhanraj, born into a conservative Telugu Hindu Brahmin family, converted to Christianity when she was seventeen after her parents switched faiths. After marriage, she went to the USA and studied Christianity formally at a reputed American University. She found all that the American pastors were keeping away from Indian Christians.
