This is such a great topic! My son had his TKD black belt at 15 and my daughter had hers at 12. It took them (and me) 4 years of twice-weekly classes to get through the program but it was worth it all. It definitely is a confidence booster for both girls and boys and teaches them so much about the real world out there. My son blocked a punch before he even knew it was coming in high school. My daughter had her school bus under control from the bullies who were afraid of her. My son is now an attorney and my daughter is in her medical school residency program. As Muslims, our kids are under so much pressure that anything we parents can do to help them overcome the obstacles is worth it. Thank you for doing this episode!

Wrestling is Sunnah! Along with archery, swimming, and horseback riding. Wish there were segregated gyms for men and women to practice Sunnah sports.

Please make a video explaining the scholarly opinions on the permissibility of training MMA and striking sports, since striking the face is haram. Many MMA gyms have free-mixing and haram music, so training in such an environment may be questionable.
