I did say it's VIN locked 😋 there is no point for someone buying this product if they have multiple Land Rovers that they want to configure. They would have to purchase the Pro one instead.

I like what you are saying. This is very smart. Ok, I have an idea; they have a contact number here bellautoservices.co.uk/contact-us/ You should get in touch and see if you can get one without a VIN. (That's why I said it is VIN locked in my video) Remember, they can delete fault code history before you go on a test drive. So something to keep in mind. No harm in trying though.

Thanks. Great video. I have to get myself one of these. I’ve looked into other options but there’s no comparison. Will you do a deeper dive with the CCF configs at some stage? One thing I’d love to be able to program is an extended valet mode. Use case: I want to give my daughter her own key so she can drive car around our fields but it’s speed limited to say 40kph. That would be amazing.

And also, perhaps it's best that you contact the manufacturer directly via email, and enquire to see if it works. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend this product as I am looking at the things that you can do with your 2006 and I can see a lot of things can be done to it. I just replaced my rims, tires and sensors. They synced up and everything was fine but now the TPMs won’t go off. My GAP won’t be here until Wednesday. I like everything working properly with my 09 sport.

Hi, I'm planning on buying a l322 tdr2.7 v6 (2007) from the marketplace. It's got multiple issues where two yellow warning lights come up on the 4x4 cluster (far left and far right) plus the yellow brake warning light under the temp gauge. I drove it, and it does drive smooth but the ABS and a couple other lights pop up and go off constantly like a light show while im turning. Also the seller claims that the coolant reservoir pisses out coolant (can see the streaks around all over) even though engine temp is fine. and the battery is dead (needs to be supplemented to start. once started, it runs fine. Could you let me know if I'm able to fix all this with the GAP tool after replacing the battery? Would like to know your thoughts. Thanks. Your content is detailed and appreciated.

After fixing the problems, you can then clear the faults. The GAP tool is a way of communication and control between you and the car computers/modules. I hope this helps! 😊

@@lifeasusual thanks see you on range rover face book to, how much did you pay for your ?the ones i have seen is £400 thats a lot of money to invest, if i was doing all the spanner work myself its worth it, or if they was a few people start a range rover DIY club we could all chip in and buy one, or buy one and rent it out ? we could post it if people live to far away, few ideas of the top of my head, you know i payed for a full service from a range rover garage, well i had a poke around after fuel filter air filter pollen filter gearbox was never touched, so long story short they did the full serviced with me under the car watching, so now i trust no one, i kick myself for not going public with it,

There is a guy on Facebook who thinks I am a scammer and is making not-so-nice comments. Yeah, they are expensive, to be honest. I saw some 2nd hand ones on the Facebook market. Maybe try there? Unfortunately, because it's VIN locked, most of the features on this device are made to be paired with one car only. Plus, I use my device about once a month, sometimes twice, to check everything is OK. Also, to do videos on this channel. Well, I try my best to make as many Range Rover DIY videos here to help people because, just like yourself, I don't trust people working on my car anymore because they look at it as an old car that needs no attention. But for me, because it is old, then it needs more care than usual. So did they tell you that they have serviced your filter, but they have not? And is that at the LR dealer?

Hi Jack, what do you mean exactly, as I'm not too sure? I don't have auto-tailgate, if that's what you mean? I don't think the L322 came with auto tailgate, you have to manually lift it.

Mainly because I live in Italy and my Italian is poor and very few garages will know how to work on one. Can you use the iid tool to disable rear parking sensors when trailer connected?

Hi Kieran, welcome to our channel! 😁 I have looked at their website. The IIDTool will allow disabling the front sensors or disabling the whole system (front and rear sensors). Hi Antonio, welcome to our channel! 😁. Based on GAP diagnostic website, it should work on Range Rover L322 from the year 2002 to 2012. Have you VIN-locked your device with your L322? Because these features will only appear if you register your device, activate it with the code and update it.👍🏻

The only useful thing is to calibrate de suspension. GAP inform me that due to the BMW architecture tehre is no CCF's and it lost a lot functions

Hi again, John! 😊 One would have to contact Bas Corporation Ltd (BAS Remaps). They will install a remap on the tool, and then using the GAP tool, one can toggle it on and off whenever needed. You can do that without blanking the EGR, as it is illegal to blank the EGR in the UK for road use. EGR delete is to be used for off-road only. For example, you can have EGR deleted while off-roading, then turn it back on again once you are back on the road again. I hope this was helpful to you. 😁
