LOS ANGELES - Ellisa Burks-McKnight talks about the history of a community organization in the 1970s called the "Rollin Avenues," started by her mother in 1968 on 3rd Avenue & Slauson and how they later were connected to the Rollin 60s Crips. She confirms one of the craziest incidents in Monster Kody's autobiography?

@@Jbcomedystl Of course, growth is a part of life. But Jay-Z is very contradicting. Let's continue the line to that song. "Take your drug money and buy the neighborhood That's how you rinse it" 🤔 but some years back it was "Niggas acting like I sold you crack Like I told you sell drugs; no, Hov did that So hopefully you won't have to go through that". On one hand he's putting homies on game to not die in a hood that's not theirs or financially owned by them. But on the other hand giving them advice on how to clean the very drug money he claim he didn't tell niggas to sell in the past. lol And at times he is always putting down the generation after him, He has a holier than thou mentality. "Been wearing gold grills since 88, ya niggas is late". Or "Y'all on the 'gram holdin' money to your ear There's a disconnect, we don't call that money over here!... It's like bruh lol You have to let the generation after you experience, in his earlier years during reasonable doubt and streets is watching he was flashing those stacks. Dont put the generation after you down for basically imaitating the very things you use to do. Some things are better not said from certain people. I like Jay Z. But you got to call a spade a spade.

I read Kody’s book back in like 2003 when I was in Prison, and at the time I had read nothing else like it and through the stories I grew to respect the man’s journey. But it hurt my heart to see it from her perspective - I owe her an apology cos when I read the book I was like that’s Gangsta... but nah, that’s evil. And I rebuke that. May Allah forgive us, inshaAllah 🙏🏾

I did it growing up in the early 2000’s here in New Jersey and just recently in 2019. Bodies were dropping daily. It was cliques here prior to the gang banging thing that ended up taking ahold. These cliques are the same alliances and beefs that’s been going on since my mother was a kid in the 60’s. People who were cool back then aligned under the Blood moniker and the Crips aligned the same way. It was insane because all of a sudden these cliques had colors which blew my mind because we only saw that in NYC with the 93’ bloods and LA.

Putting events in context is important. Per his book, Monster Kody said that one of their female gang members had been kidnapped, raped, stabbed, and left for dead. In retaliation they captured a rival gang member and instead of killing him, they chopped off his arm to send a message. Result: The kidnapping stopped. If you're going to tell a story, tell the whole story otherwise you're being deceptive and that's evil.

Ive read KODY MONSTER autobiography... He said an innocent girl was kidnapped by R60's, gangraped & stabbed multiple times & was left for dead in a park but survived! For retaliation to this, the ETG kidnapped a R60's crip, beat him & cut his arms off, but let him live! No one was kidnapped again according to the book. I don't understand how she can feel sorry for 1 of the kidnapped & was probably present, knew about or enjoyed hearing about the innocent girls ordeal. Maybe do a follow-up interview where the lady on camera explains the reasoning for the craziest incident in the book!

This shit is BIGGER than the hood could ever conceive. I grew up in the Rolling 60s during the time of the Eight Tray 60 war. Which is documented as the WORST war in So central LA. Having the largest body count of any gang conflict in LA. But don't take my word. Do your own research. Half the people in Kodys book I either knew personally,or had heard of them. A lot of shit in his book NEVER HAPPEN!!! But unfortunately a lot of it did. And by the way. Kody never implicated himself in the murder of Jblade. (The dude that was chopped up). My point is, if you are judging the gangs for the ills of society. You haven't got a clue on how the world really works. Gangs are just the end result. of the breakdown of the community. And we have our friends from the FBI,CIA and other Illuminati think tanks. To ensure that we as a people are DESTROYED off the face of the earth. Don't fall for the OKI DOKE my Brothers and Sisters. She also paralled the gangbanging w/ the 1st murder in human history, straight from the pages of the Holy Bible. She called out the chapter and all. Praise YAH!! I grew up in L.A. and when I tell you those streets were treacherous, some crips actually went to a graveyard dug up the casket of a Brim and went and put the casket on the dead Brims front yard. That's how wild it was back then, L.A. was so dangerous back then, its gotten a little better but it was crazy. Research it if you think I'm lying I think it happened in 88 or it could have been 87.

Looking at videos, reading books has nothing on living in the middle of all of this. The majority of these dudes used to be in my yard in the late 70's before it really got out of hand. EVERYBODY was cool with each other. We all met up at different schools, different streets 7 even Pepperdine University before they moved to Malibu, and we all play each other in Football, Basketball & baseball. Then all hell broke loose.... but the sickest killing was when this dude got killed, the fools that killed him, ran up in the funeral home, shot him up again, took his body & dumped it on his mama's front porch. That's one story that gets overlooked until it's brought up. That shocked the shit out of everyone that claimed to hard during that time. Running up in the wrong houses, killing grandmothers, mamas, kids..... these LA are still wicked. Which is why I'm clueless as to why these new booty R&B/Rappers wanna claim that LA gang life living in another state, getting their info from television. And I can easily speak on this bullshit, because one is dead & the other is doing life.... from this gang shit.
