Oooh I love how the animation at the beginning emphasizes Hunters desire to live apart from Belos's shadow. The line "they would only see the tragedy" hits very differently in this context

The constant switches between Hunter's left and right side is such a beautiful way of storytelling. I know near nothing about The Owl House, but the conflict you show in this single video has me hooked on Hunter's internal turmoil alone. my favorite part is definitely 1:59, because of the flashes of images and the smooth animation of Hunter cradling his head. Your skills have just gone beyond everything I've expected, and it's a wonderful thing to see!

This is amazing! It really shows the anger, horror, and betrayal that Hunter felt when he learned the truth about his own creation and Belos. An absolute masterpiece. My favourite bit has to be 3:28, you can really see the fear in Hunter's eyes along with the confidence in Belos' eyes when he harms Flapjack. Thanks for this beautiful animatic!

The visual perspective/composition of the frames were wonderful and the way it tied into that one scene from "Thanks to Them" was amazing. This animatic really captured what was going through Hunter's mind and acts as a great way to delve deeper into what the character was feeling in that moment. Great job!

An absolute Masterpiece, my favorite part has to be 2:05 and the way it shows all of Belos' transformations, forms, and showing him who he was based off of, adding another way or torment and agony. A very close second has to be the Thanks to Them segment and with the added element of the music it feels empowering and with an extra added note of feeling overpowered

This is absolutely beautiful from the animation having the small details in their facial expressions to how you express the difference between Hunter and Belos/Philip in Hunter's "possessed" form in 2:45 , this animation had me in pure awe, a literal jaw-dropping animation considering the fact that for most duration of me watching this my mouth was wide open from complete awe. I am incredibly glad that I watched this video :]

3:30 This is a much better twist for the fight, having Belos actually stretch out and grab Flapjack from a good distance away. As opposed to canon, where for some reason Flapjack is just hovering around the psycho killer. I didn't like Flapjack's death for the message it sends and adding a totally unneeded level of trauma onto Hunter's messed up life. But there's also some weird decisions for the characters to make sure Belos is even able to be given the chance. So even the execution felt iffy.

I know you've already received a LOT of praise for this but it's so deserved! I keep revisiting this and watching it again and again since it's been published and the art, the fluency of it all, it blows me away every time. CAN WE STOP AND APPRECIATE THE GENIUS STORYBOARDING OF ALL OF THIS?? This is a true masterpiece and it's easy to see the thought put through the framing of every bit of this animatic. Every angle is beautifully sculpted to shape this beautiful image and the ambitious transitions are so meticulously designed to work cleanly the point where they appear perfect. I'm AMAZED with the quality of this wonderfully executed work of art and I'll probably be watching it again next week with the same enthusiasm. It's safe to say this is one of my favorite if not THE BEST animatic I've ever seen. THIS IS LITERALLY SO AWESOME I'M IN LOVE :))))))
