Great job Mark. I could tell the code enforcement officer was all bureaucratic saying he couldn't be on the property. That tells me he doesn't have compassion for helping people either and he was hesitant to help u. It's no wonder the neighbors called instead of helping. They have the same non compassion attitude. They would rather pick up a phone instead of of a section of fence to lend a helping hand. I swear people are fickle. But you Mark, are the epitome of compassion, caring and positivity that this world needs. God Bless you and your family.

All the leaves in her yard are from the neighbors trees... if the fence is falling in to her property its caused from the neglect of the neighbors overgrowth pushing on the fence, root growth ect. Pets, kids, hitting it with their mowers. Good job. Can't wait for part 2

I know most of the folks here watching would be the ones reaching out to help neighbors with their lawns and small repairs. One neighbor at a time, we can all make a difference. I mow 2 properties besides mine that are several acres each because the owners are older or out of town. I love to mow, I also keep the sides of the road mowed on the roads around me. Less judging, more helping!!!

Where I live, the fence framework is normally on the owner's side if it's chainlink. But my neighbor had a wood fence installed next to my chainlink with the frame facing me ( the installers were from south of the border).

Whomever put the fence up is responsible for it. When you have neighboring properties it's one property owner or the other who put the fence up. It's rarely a shared fence - meaning both parties shared in the cost - as folks move in and out of properties and it blurs the lines of who is responsible. So if that lady put the fence up, it's her responsibility to keep it up. And since it's on all three sides of her back yard it would most likely be her (or whomever owned the property before her) who put it up.

well, the fence is set in the exact same way around the house indicating that the fence is her property. some states have laws where the ''good side of the fence'' must be placed toward the neighbors. I don't know her or her neighbors, I can't say why they would or wouldn't help her. they may know something we dont .
