I know Katie and she's been advocating for children and people in general for many years! She's the real deal through and through! So glad this came through my feed today! Also glad that there are people willing to go through the trenches with others to help bring healing and justice. Great interview!

I really liked the phrase of going the higher road for safety, because that means it is something of high value and people are willing to not seek their own and, instead, the culture is to walk the extra mile of protection and safety in small and bigger circumstances. Wonderful!!

34:13 “The people are the ones being protected in that passage…you are the Lord’s anointed” I don’t know who does NOT need to hear that, be reminded of that. Thank you for saying it

THANK YOU, Jeff, for the final question you asked, regarding guidelines for single persons in ministry who are seeking a relationship. I have wanted to ask that question. Having watched dozens of presentations and interviews on clergy abuse in the last year, I have never seen that issue addressed.

Thank you so very much for this! The information presented here is so badly needed in the Body of Christ right now. Thank you again, Minor Prophets, for these podcasts!

Thank you so much for this discussion. By the grace of God I was very recently awakened to what I call the Culture of Niceness in the Church (especially Charismatic) that I am busy writing a book about it. I would like to get hold of Katie about this. Her description of Happyosis is spot on. My focus is more on spiritual abuse, which I believe open the doors to physical abuse, but I focus on the fist.

Is there any book on this topic of the difference between hurt, harm, and projecting a spirit of offense? We’ve got to stop beating the church down with the bludgeon of “you must forgive” and “you are just bitter”… We grow into compassion and validation… As our Lord is already at vindication and vengeance.

This is what I have been saying for years, the ears to hear are absent. Then the ones that do hear, also commit abuse and misuse their gift of hearing and listening. Even to the point of robbing people of their healing, interaction and the list goes on. And then making out they want to help, when in truth they hurt, harm and injure and they don't care when they do it. They then make it worse because then the person that is affected needs to then go through that issue and experience, and go through broken trust and betrayal. Then it produces rewounding....simply because you don't have the ears to hear and listen, really listen. That is why I had to tell someone that you are deaf, and you are deaf as well as a nation. I hear you, but you don't hear me, we hear you but you don't hear us. @14:36 "Does that deal with the issue", no that does not deal with the issue of not hearing. If you love then you will hear, not hearing and not listening = not loving.

does the clerical community adjustment bureau apologize to those they exploited during their process of manipulating their culture to suit the idols of fame and greed in their heart?
