It's a special kind of crazy and I went through something similar but with a spice addict I met at meeting. Didn't know the guy other than from there and it was absolutely horrifying how he got the information about me in order to harass me and my family. I wish, he never existed. It took what should have been a solum time away from me while my mother was dying. He'd call and call and call.... Stalk me and my family and eventually when he couldn't find me, he raped my sister. These types of people are dangerous and it's pathetic that the cops can't do more to protect our peace and privacy. 💖🙏

Stalking is extremely dangerous. My daughters and I have been stalked for 4 yrs by a man she met at 14! He broke into our home (for the 3rd time) on thanksgiving at 3am and my daughter woke up w/ a knife to her throat and he proceeded to beat and stab her for 30 minutes until I woke up and called 911 and got her to safety. Thankfully by the grace of God she’s survived and physically healing well, but mentally we are both not great. This has been a 4 year long hell. We have filed so many police reports and tried charging him repeatedly and the detectives and prosecutors in our country genuinely do not care until someone dies. I literally had multiple separate officers independently tell me to try and run and flee the state bc nobody will care till someone is unalived. I’m a single mom who recently just had my identity stolen and lost everything in 2020 I don’t have the ability to run away or hide. It’s so frustrating. Anyway pls understand how dangerous this situation is for you and these types will stop at nothing, they mentally cannot be reasoned with or talked sense into. I pray for your safety!

As a young student nurse at Charity Hospital New Orleans in the early 70’s, I was on the Psych ward & had a patient with white blonde hair & weird blue eyes, kinda like the character on The Firm. He got signals from outer space thru his 🦷 fillings. He wanted me, escaped the locked ward & got a message to me saying he had permission from Dr Charles Mary (Head of Charity Hospital) to take me home as his own personal nurse & that he would be hiding in the bushes waiting for me as I went back & forth from dorm to the hospital. He would call the dorm hall phone for me. Not sure how he got the number. Always wondered why me & not one of the others. He was fixated. The priest & nuns who were head of the school had no idea what to do but this guy was determined. We weren’t familiar with these things back then. I was ok but scared. These types really believe they have the right to take over our lives in some way & your stalker is relentless. Him putting it out on YT is horrific. Please be careful, you are strong & prepared but dealing with situations like this are volatile, unpredictable & unexplainable. They can’t be reasoned with either. Take care🙏 💐

I know you move smart and protected, just keep that thing ready and close. I just saw your video on my feed & watched from Alberta, Canada. It's scarey to have someone follow you everywhere, making up stories. I understand what you're saying but also be cautious! If you don't already carry pepperspray as well. This guy is living a delulu fantasy that he believes is real. FYI:In my personal experience, restraining orders are a joke. Pretty much anyone that has gotten one against someone, has been broken, for my situation as well. It's good tp not post your location until weeks after so you can go somewhere else. On the upside I think what you are doing is awesome. I always thought it would be cool to travel around seeing different areas & towns having new experiences. Your little dog is adorable. Hi Jeepsy, I am a watcher from Australia. I had a stalker at one time and had to get police involved. The recommendations from the police was to do as you have and tell the stalker ( via email in my case ) that they must cease and that I had the police involved. Then ..never speak of them again. They suggested that by acknowledging they exist was a formal of communication and it allowed for them to communicate back. Keep all evidence of contact attempts, harassment and never reply. Or acknowledge. It drives the stalker crazy because they are not getting a response from you. Im not sure if this is helpful in your situation, but it worked for me. I then kept gathering information, and submitting it to the police. There was then enough evidence for a charge. I wish you all the best. Keep travelling and doing you women should be allowed to go where they want without fear. You go girl!

@@MegaMasteraaron That is an extremely dangerous tactic, especially for a woman who lives on the road, alone in an RV. Sarah's stalker is having delusions of persecution, in which he believes Sarah is out to harm him and, he believes she's turned his family against him. He's criminally insane. It's incredibly dangerous for her to make ANY contact with him. He has a criminal record. He's not going to be less likely to attack her, since she's involved police. Most likely, he's stronger than she is physically. He has experience with this, even a criminal record of it. Police can only do something AFTER the fact, when the harm has been done. They aren't going to be there 24/7 to guard her. He should be committed. You were lucky your stalker didn't get to you alone or attack you. The problem with that tactic is the same reason it worked for you, it exploits their delusion that you want contact, by simply initiating contact. It's incredibly dangerous and it was a bad idea for police to suggest that. It could easily go extremely badly.

She even mentioned living in Oregon and was with people from Medford. Maybe he's just genuinely confused and too crazy/threatened/schizo to consider the idea that it could just be a big coincidence. Sarah we all have a visceral reaction to stalkers. When I was a young woman, a had more than I can say. The last one who threatened and stalked not only me, but people on my SM. I quit SM after going to the PD, and let me go before a judge. Take photos and all of your records to your local marshal, sheriff or police. Always trust your gut!!! It never lies. Stay safe, we love you and send protective prayers out for you. PS you’re dealing w a mental illness. Consequences are the only thing he’ll understand. Get that restraining order, when he violates it or is nearby, physically, call 911 immediately. He needs medication and and hospitalization. Be careful.

I had a stalker once and I didn't even know it. I worked for a company in sales and there was a telemarketer who wanted to leave the company and give me leads on the side. Before this took place, one of the other sales women brought her psychic to the office for those who wanted to do a reading. I passed on the reading, but the telemarketer paid the psychic to do a reading for him. My friend warned me that most of his questions had to do with me. I didn't think much of it. My only dealings with the guy were over the phone after he had set appointments for me. The only time I saw him in person was when I dropped off his commission at a designated public location. His partner was a nurse, so it never occurred to me that he might have an interest in me beyond professionalism. One day, he told me he would be going with me on an appointment because he wanted to learn sales. I felt I could hardly say no because his leads had been invaluable to me, so I reluctantly took him along. The appointment was deep in a forest. The scariest location I'd ever been to in terms of sales. Going there was fine, but, on the way back, as I was winding my way back up the mountain in a forest of pines, the guy said this to me. "I'd like to kill you and bury you here in the mountains that way I'd have you all to myself." My blood ran cold and a chill ran down my spine, but I kept my cool. I laughed it off and changed the subject, which seemed to work. I feel if I had shown fear it would have excited him and could have been deadly for me. A few months later, he was arrested for murder. He had shot his 18-year-old stepson to death for not getting a job at Jack-In-The-Box. The teen was sweet and good-looking. It was a terrible tragedy. At the same time, I discovered that the telemarketer had been a slasher in Chicago and that he suffered from schizophrenia. I feel fortunate to be alive. I saw him as soft spoken and he always wore a fedora, a voice can be very deceiving. I'm sorry about your stalking experience. I hope he leaves you alone.

So sorry this is happening to you! I’m a longtime Las Vegan & have been stalked for over 7 years by an intimate partner I only saw twice. They just never stop. I think they’ll justify doing it in their minds forever & don’t care about facts or anything. They’d rather continue stalking than have us be willing to walk away if they stopped. This stalker convinced my “friend” that I was the problem & others turned against me or shunned me for him. It’s crazy. I reported him to the FBI twice for cybercrime but never heard back from them. I do need to take my evidence to the police, but I don’t have much faith in them actually helping. My family doesn’t care. He’s obviously done it before because he knows not to send messages etc. That also protects his lies. He’s a retired firefighter too so he has all this credibility from that. 💜Stay safe, sister. Medical social worker here. I too have had same experience with a different individual and followed through with the restraining order after he broke it by sending me a letter. When that happens it is the "state" that takes him to court, so the state is on your side. This is someone who is SMI and likely not on their medication. And as you said not his first rodeo. I personally would take advantage of friend's offers for parking at their property for time being, you can still travel, but sleep in peace. Blessings to you.

Stalkers are terrifying. They do all kinds of scary things to gain control. I've been stalked by men I've confronted. One guy would come to my garden fence and stare at me. That stalker lasted a year and the cops couldn't help because he was doing legal things. If you've never been stalked it's hard to understand how freaking creepy terrifying it is. I totally understand how you feel.

Having met you in person and your wonderful family too, i know you to be smart and street wise. I also had a stalker as well. No matter how many times I blocked him, he would create new accounts to find me. I appreciate that you are thinking of him being older and wiser someday. Because you and I both know what mental illness can do to a person, personally, it does not mean you should cut him slack. He isn’t thinking rationally, so appealing rationally is fruitless. I’m glad you took this step, but please never ever address him directly again. It will encourage his sick mind to continue. Much better than you never need to use your protection. I’m thrilled you’re getting a restraining order. That didn’t stop my stalker, who turned out to have his grandfather’s gun with him. I look forward to the day this person ends up in jail for an extended period of time. Stalkers rarely respect a piece of paper, so he will continue. He has to want mental health help. I also have all of the protections, but in my mind from the very beginning, I kept thinking that I never wanted to have to even think about using anything, 🌹 colored glasses kind of girl. I came super close to selling my biggest protection and thankfully California law kept me from doing that since I am not a resident. I’m thankful I didn’t sell it because while the world is changing and people are understanding that we are all connected, there are still a few that are unhinged and make us feel that sick feeling where we have to remember our protection again. Thank you for sharing your story for the rest of us out here. I can only imagine that it will cause more harm in comments than welcomed, but I certainly appreciate the information more than you know. You are too nice and I am too, I had my own thing I went through with a lady who is in Vegas. Now that I am in Montana I finally confronted her last month and she told me she had been diagnosed with schizophrenia . I feel relieved, but I would never trust her. Everyone deserves their best life, but not at the expense of others. I am glad you are getting your order of protection. I never did and was criticized by friends. Don't look back and regret not getting a restraining order. I would recommend getting one, but it's really only a piece of paper at the end of the day. Yes, it creates a legitimate record that law enforcement can use to help understand your situation and (hopefully) use to arrest the person if they violate the dictates of the PPO. Unfortunately, that's it. I was not in law enforcement but have an associate's degree from it and some of what we experienced in our courses (real photos, real 911 calls, etc. and classes all taught by active or retired LEOs) was horrifying. Some people are triggered when they find out there's a PPO and some people will just be sneakier. There are those who will honor it, but my guess is that statistically that number is small and definitely not full of people who have significant mental health issues. You did the best thing that you could do; you moved away. Not everyone can do that but it's also Sarah's best protection from this person (well, maybe not her best protection...;-) ).

The stress of this is not good for you...try to connect with a lawyer to represent on your behalf, so you can have some distance from some of the stress that goes with documenting interactions and concerns. Please involve the FBI. Don't hesitate. And yes, get whatever legal restraining orders etc needed...but again, it's only paper. Please get FBI consilt on how to handle stalkers and you tube. It's scary to be experiencing...you've got lots of great people in your corner...stay connected..and try to give away/ hand off as much of the stress as you can.

Mental illness and the paranoia that can come with it is terrifying for the person suffering. However, untreated, it can become terrifying for the people around them. It’s very sad that there is only so much that can be done. I’m a healthcare provider that has had to 5150 a few patients in my time. Unfortunately, most times it leads to a very short stay. If the patient can fake being “normal” or doesn’t seem like a threat, they can walk right out the door. The laws need to change. You shouldn’t have to wait for something to happen to then put a mentally ill person in jail. Stop it before it gets that far!

It’s not that easy. I saw a lot of people petitioned out of punishment for domestic disputes and marital problems. A number of them were females and didn’t present with any maladaptive behaviors on our unit. Sure, it’s a good way to really inconvenience someone but it’s abused as well. You can’t imprison someone for being a concerning individual. It would be nice to see the future, but without evidence of wrongdoing you are left on the defensive. Unfortunately, restraining orders and legal action tends to precipitate retaliation from the person who is stalking/harassing. Careful documentation and being incredibly mindful about your surroundings is key. Sad reality.
