@@WhatchaGot2Say Some are speculating that it’s the missing song from layover because in the promotion before the release of Layover, there was a gap in the timeline and tracks. If this song is the song that is tied to Layover then it might make sense. If Fri(end)s is actually the song they were hinting at with the gap and it was meant to be between Slow Dancing and For us, then it could be part of the stages of a break up. Rainy Days - feeling the end and can’t move on, Blue - it’s over and he wants his dog back, Love Me Again - still wanting her back, Slow Dancing - in his mind getting ready to move on acceptance that it over, Fri(ends) - both deciding to part as friends, For Us - we’ll be apart, be friends and wait for each other. And the song is a soul, r&b song, can’t wait.

Oooh what did the Vminners say about Penicillin? Blue Mould (Serendipity) sirendipity? What Namjoon, the songwriter called a blue haired Suga one day. This whole video reminds me of the smiley faced mangetteok ( I think that's what it's called), that Suga made for Jimin for his birthday with the candles that spelled out HAPPY. It's just visually similiar and it's food. The apple could be a Blood Sweat and Tears reference which is the song Jimin dedicated to Yoongj on his 2022 birthday also. And these Teasers and song are coming out around Suga's birthday. The red string of fate was a game they played on Japanese TV in 2015. Worth seeing.

We already know it's an R&B, soul type song. Weverse released that info. I think he's still processing relationships. All the sad longing, lingering feels and regret expressed in Layoever are done. I think it means "the desire ended the friendship" as following the red thread words;, This red thread might be related to a japanese story about soulmates and the red thread of destiny Akai Ito and the line of destiny where " That red thread binds two soulmates who are destined to meet no matter where they are or how far apart they are." The apple symbolizes the forbiden desire. The desire fed by the apple of temptation killed the friendship. Ended it. What's next? Love? Or this situation really ended everything?

I already watched the teaser trailer that dropped today so I’m curious for your reaction and thoughts/theories but I think it may be about how a friendship ends and the anger/chaos that comes from something that you hoped would last forever coming to an end. Friendships are so special and for one to come to an end can be extremely painful so maybe it’s that.
