Confusing Thai word "For" (ให้/เพื่อ/สำหรับ)

I love how this teacher, she pronounces R (ร เรือ) sound correctly. Not like 91% of Thai people. It’s really confusing for foreigners to understand when they’re hearing Thai people speak. like “we hurry to wait for express boat. It should be… เรารีบไปรอเรือเร็ว. But 91% of Thais would say เลาลีบไปลอเลือเล็ว. Which is all wrong.

ที่is also used in Thai in situations where in Engliish we would say thank you for + gerund. Thank you for cleaning the house (for me). ขอบคุณที่ทำความสะอาดบ้าน(ให้ฉัน) There is also ใน (in / for). He is famous for winning every race เขามีชื่อเสียงในการชนะทุกการแข่งขัน Thank you for coming on time. ขอบคุณที่มาตรงเวลา
