Regarding the second (casual) version, are the "gae" (you) and the "ah" (tail particle) girlish or used by males too?

'Gae' would sound very submissive if used by a man, but it's not gender exclusive. 'ah' is a short version of 'kha', which is an exclusively female particle. If a man says 'kha' that would be grammatically wrong. The male version is 'khap'

I was taught that แดก​ (daek) means "devour". ทำกับข้าวหมาไม่แดก

"daek" sounds the same with "dek" (kid)
