@@SridharKs Thank you Doc. It was also remarkable considering the surgery took place in a small town of Shillong (Meghalaya) India. It was the first recorded case at that time.

Hello sir, on my 8 th month scan, they have found CDH issue with 73% O/E LHR. They have given probability only 50%. Can you please suggest here?

Hi, it depends on what degree of head control he has achieved. What is his corrected age now? If reasonable head control, it is okay, it also depends on the overall development, head size in relation to body growth etc

I am in 19 th week pregnant they diagnosis cdh for my baby present i am 22 week pregnent we change the hospital in again conduct tiffa they tell Lhr is 1.58 this is possitive. Doc told me that you can continue the pregnency.what i can do for continue these values upto delivary plz suggest me..

It’s a challenging condition, where do you live? Some centers have fetal surgery options if signs of worsening but very limited availability

Hlo sir on my 7 month scan they found cdh issue..nd o/e lhr ratio is 56% with lhr 1.5 cm² and head circumfrence is 269.. Currently i am in 36 week 4th day...nd my delovery is going to be happen in pgi chandigarh..gynae doctors are saying that babies with such defcect not survive in most cases ..bt surgeon are saying there are chances of sirvival after surgery

Don’t worry, you are delivering at an excellent hospital, and many babies do survive though the risk is high. Best wishes, do update later if possible

@@danusreek9418 After birth, the child had a surgery 4 days ago and now he is fine. But the doctor is saying that after one year of age, one more operation can be done, rest of the baby is fine

Hi my boy has been diagnosed with this on his left side and he only has half a diaphragm he is 17 and had this all his life but only just found it after a ct scan. he will be having the operation soon 😬🤦🏻‍♀️

It is possibly a milder variant called eventration. Best wishes for his surgery
