How cool is this, I'm a fan of music of all sorts, especially hard music, Stryper is 1 of the first bands i got to see live, 1 of my top favorite bands ever, first time seeing them live was back in 84-85' just before Soldiers Under Command came out at the bird cage theater at Knott's Berry Farm, I've been huge fan of their ever since, seeing them numerous times live, Well deserved, tip of the hat to STRYPER!

So happy for this band. This was my first concert I remember standing on top of the speaker by the stage rocking out. These guys helped pave the way for this young kid looking for guidance during a difficult time in my life. Thank you Micheal Ozz Robert and Timothy for being a light in the darkness for a young kid.

Stryper are an awesome band. If not for the religious angle I think they would be regarded as one of metals greatest ever. They don't need the approval of men however they have God on their side. The band is absolutely deserving of this honor.

Surely Tim Gaines should have been there as well; dude played on 9 of the 13 albums. He wasn't even acknowledged by the Hall or the band. I mean no disrespect to Perry but the 80's albums are the reason they've been inducted not God Damn Evil and Even The Devil Believes. Strange as these Hall of Fames usually don't leave out the significant former members.

Stryper is not the same without Bassist Tim Gaines, the other Bassist Perry Richardson was not in Stryper from the beginning, here’s the original lineup: Michael Sweet (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Oz Fox (Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals), Robert Sweet (Drummer, Visual Time Keeper, Backing Vocals), and Timothy Gaines (Bass Guitar, Backing Vocals).
