This is absolutely correct. MCA site is the worst culprit. DGFT site is another one. Am tired of the spam. Changing email ID is painful and within a few months, same nonsense starts. GOI depts are least bothered about "privacy". It's a free for all. No sign of reducing. It's only increasing. Thanks for exposing this reality. What's the solution? Digital India is only a slogan. Not backed by sound and fair Policy implementation at ground level.

It's not just with MCA.... You have a DEMAT account, you will get 100's of calls from various services, banks etc. which is related to it..... Everyday expect at least 5 calls...

Have been experiencing this Sarkari shoddiness since 2017, when I returned from US and formed an LLP in Bangalore. Apparently, everyone knew everything. People called us saying Sir you can simply give us verbal consent over the phone to open an account or whatever, and we will complete the paper work!!

The only solution to this is to legislate compulsory - and immediate - extraordinary fines on organizations whose negligence in this area is documented and evidence brought in by citizens. The complaint could be as simple as an FIR with a police station or a complaint made at a consumer court. When evidence is proferred, the Act should immediately fine the negligent organization regardless of who in the organization did it and in what capacity without recourse to any court adjournment. It should become the responsibility of the organization to prove that they were not guilty. There could be an interesting fallout from such an Act - such organizations would be compelled to sue the government due to the data leak's source origins. The citizen would not have to worry about taking on the government; the organizations would do that for them.

even aadhar pan bank demat details all are at risk with no recourse to authorities who issue the identities.. It's more dangerous to go digital at this rate. All under the garb, digital marketing, lead creation, supply chain, etc etc which more corporates and firms are banking on

This spamming happens because the MCA website generates the Master Data (which contains email & basic info of the entity) of the Company/LLP on their Portal, even before the sending the official mail with the certificate of incorporation of the entity. This happens so because of various stages of approval, the company or LLP might get approved, but there is always a slight delay for the PAN/TAN allotment from the Income Tax Department. The COI needs to have both PAN & TAN printed on it. And this delay has increased manifolds after the implementation of glitchy and faulty MCA V3. Ma'am I would highly recommend you to raise the issues of MCA V3 Portal, the portal is designed by LTIMindree, an by far I have never used such a bad website which is filed with many non-sense glitches. The Minstry doesn't seem to be doing anything.

A few years ago i got a call from a stock tip provider trying to sell tips package. When i tried to end the call saying i dont do stocks, he mentioned the stock trades that i had taken in the last week and the total funds i had in my brokerage account. i have been subject to job cut because i refused to use my aadhar card to get my attendance biometric this was by a prominent bank of this nation which was using IT services of my employer it used aadhar for its erntry card verification and i was not willing to share this so was on a different pretext asked to quit so privacy will be used against you if you do not make noise now!
