His, his handlers or Blinken's agenda, of what Netanyahu is doing now about Israel. Biden is the only one who can authorize a US Veto at the UN, and it was used to allow Israel to continue war crimes. Biden also used an emergency rule to bypass Congress to sent weapons to Israel while they're killing people. Biden is evil, and now we see it.

100% agree on minimum wage. If the economy has gotten to the point where the only way to keep inflation below 2% is to have an unlivable minimum wage, maybe we need something more creative than doubling down on things that aren’t working. Maybe raising minimum wage would increase labor force participation? $7.25 is such a ridiculously low number.

Silvio Berlusconi was a corrupt, 5:35 autocratic leader of Italy, who was ousted and re-elected prime minister (2011). It’s a typical scenarios for how modern Autocrats destroy a democratic country. I’m concerned. I don’t think the American public know a 1/10 of what Biden has accomplished and it’s irrelevant. They want pervasive change around all the underlying inequalities in our deteriorating democratic government, otherwise too many don’t know what the alternative means, and are willing to give it up. My prediction, if Trump wins, there will be tanks in the streets within weeks. I’m exploring that guy Dean Philippes. Unfortunately, the DNC has already locked in Biden.

@magoospsoriasismagic
@magoospsoriasismagic 11 ай бұрын
@tsebregnis5422 I think he's too old too, so what? It's a completely silly and bogus idea. Washington, Socrates and Plato were old too, but apparently the right person for the job at the time! lol. What does "enough" dems mean? Enough for what? To hand the election to Trump? Good thinking. I've lived thru 58 years of bipartisan stupidity and that's what it is. Dean's 2% will tank the Dems and give the republicans the White House. It is what it is, you don't have to like it or believe it. He's too little, too late. He doesn't even have a fart in a breezes chance of getting 15% and on the debate stage. He's a distraction so foolish Dems will chip away at Biden, who happens to have the best economic record in 50 years right now. You're a dem? Did you know that?! Did you see his speech at McCain's dedication? I WISH I was as together as that guy is! I don't care if he's 150! He's doing a great job for America and even better for the Dems. But Dems have to shoot themselves in the foot. Don't listen to polls. The polls just predicted red wins and we had a blue sweep. Remember that when they come scare you tomorrow. Dean's business analogies were silly and unimpressive, kind of repub lite. The basic thing is I could care less. He could be Mother Theresa and Ghandi with a side of garlic fries, he still can't win. That's the DNC's fault but you're 40 years late to that "forever rebuild." He just can't win cause Dems are cowardly fucks (you said it above, "no guts") who will never buck the status quo. If they had balls and half a brain and weren't corrupt, Bernie would be heading for a 3rd term! lmfao! So give Biden a dollar cause unless he dies or the DNC steals defeat from the jaws of victory (as they often do), he wins.

I really love Dean's comment about money being like manure: piled high it stinks, spread around it fertilizes. I wish this message was embodied more by this channel -- which, despite lip service about the importance of the wealthy paying their fair share of taxes and the structural conditions that are allowing wealth accumulation to really get out of hand, still paints an aspirational picture for its young male viewership of an obscenely consumptive lifestyle: "I fly private" "I take $7,000 per person tours of Disneyland". It's incumbent upon us as residents of this finite and rapidly heating planet -- especially those of us with big megaphones -- to model behavior that is consistent with coexisting with 7 billion people and 2 million other species. Thank you Scott for interesting interviews and being a role model for young men. But your wealth schtick needs calibration for a liveable planet.

The idea that inflation is too high and food cost too much is Bull $#!+ . I work in apartment maintenance and 24/7 365 constant Ubereats, DoorDash, Walmart delivery dozens everyday, just yesterday Walmart delivery for 1 12 pack of Dr. Pepper, that person probably a 20x mark up on the cost to produce that drink. Food can not be that expensive if millions of Americans can pay delivery fee and tip on top of food that already has a 100+% mark up. Houses cost alot; that how the free market works. It is not politicians fault it ours. A free market prices go up until they get too high, the market shrinks until people start buying again. We Americans are to spoiled that when our houses go down in value we cry to our representatives to fix it. Then when they do fix it then we cry again about taxes and regulations. Grow up USA if you want fewer homeless one of the many things that have to happen is home owners will have to take a loss and more home will have to be built.

...he's younger, better looking and seems relatively intelligent. He is saying some very positive things, but my concern is his naivety about being able to do more than Biden on any given issue, given the same congressional makeup.

@@AudiTTQuattro2003 I agree. I'm still keeping an eye on Kennedy, who seems to know how to fight the establishment. There needs to be major changes if we want to save the country from greed.

This is a great interview. Getting tired of Kara's pompous dismissive attitude on pivot to anything not on her radar. I almost didn't watch this interview bc of it. She should get off her high horse and watch this. He's helped pass real legislation, but straight white man who had success in business = automatic swisher write off lol

Raising the Social Security contribution limits need to be addressed. It is wrong to raise the FICA tax limit from $160,000 to $250,000. I want to see FICA applied to income earners making more than $450K per year. That gap between $160K - $450K is money to be kept by wage earners.

Spreading more wealth to workers will not be accomplished by raising minimum wage alone. As it was done 50 years ago, collective bargaining is one of the most important ways to accomplish this goal. Mr Phillips does not seem to be the man that will take us there.

“The government doesn’t generate enough revenue to have any discretionary dollars left”. Taxes don’t fund government expenses because the government isn’t a household or business. When an interest payment is due, the Federal Reserve creates the money in the Treasury’s accounts, and the money is paid out.

You should revise your way of thinking if you can be so reductive of people's emotions. Shame on you if you truly believe they were crying solely because they didn't get what they wanted. They were crying for women (rightfully so), for human rights, for the loss of civility in this country.

The most appropriate healthcare system that the United States could probably have would be the Australian system, also known as the public option. But our savior Barack Obama conveniently left for Germany when this was being debated. What a coward.
