OMG literally the only physics videos I can understand! My physics teacher is terrible so thanks for being my new teacher! Wish me luck on my physics test today

I stumbled upon your Rotational Kinematics playlists and it was so helpful. Thank you.

You should have way more views by now! keep it up! You put so much work into these videos!

Such hard work ! And entertaining too, and the 3 "students" kinda play the role of my mind asking various questions and trying to resolve them.

thanks. made me laugh.

Sir L is the distance right! So how can it be broken into component since it's scalar quantity
@FlippingPhysics11 ай бұрын
L is a distance and it is not being broken into components. L is the hypotenuse of a right triangle and L_in and L_y are the two sides of that triangle. The hypotenuse of a right triangle does not have to be a vector.

Sir inward along the radius of circle is chosen as positive then why is downward for angular velocity negative? Please help sir.
@FlippingPhysics5 жыл бұрын
Those are two entirely different things. The direction of the centripetal acceleration and centripetal force is completely different than the direction of angular velocity.
@learningisecstatic93485 жыл бұрын
@@FlippingPhysics yes sir. Is The downward direction for the angular velocity randomly denoted as negative or is it bounded by some rule?
@FlippingPhysics5 жыл бұрын
Down is typically the negative direction, even for angular quantities like angular displacement, angular velocity, and angular acceleration. However, that is just standard convention. You can identify down as positive if you would like to (but then up would be negative).

At 4:13, why is acceleration zero?
@FlippingPhysics6 жыл бұрын
The acceleration of the object is not zero. The acceleration of the object in the y-diretion is zero. This is because it is not moving up or down, so there is no acceleration in the y-direction.
@icefirerereoo72596 жыл бұрын
Since the pendulum is moving in a horizontal circle, there is no centripetal acceleration in the y direction.

Do you actually teach AP physics in real life
@FlippingPhysics7 жыл бұрын
Currently I teach a physics class which is not AP. I was at a previous school for 13 years where I taught AP Physics C: Mechanics, AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism, and AP Physics B (Which was split in to AP Physics 1 and AP Physics 2).

Flipping Physics that explains why you know so much about physics, up until i found your channel, i have been struggling with AP physics 1 and when my teacher showed us this channel, i became much better at physics after watching your videos, I've began to comprehend our lessons better now. So to sum it all up, i thank you for making physics easier to understand.
