@@GMMReviews the heck you talking about? You could literally buy certain xbox 360s that could play this game or just get an Xbox 1 with backwards compatibility. Both of them you just pop the disk in and your resolution is kicked up too standards that would surprise way passed 480p.

Eh, almost. The game lacks graphical techniques such as normal maps, full dynamic shadows, and water reflections and refraction which became common in the XB360 era with the introduction of DX9. However, the texture work, sounds, and polygonal models are still some of the best in the OG XB. Conker Live & Reloaded managed to do what Bad Fur Day did in the N64, as Bad Fur Day was the best looking N64 game, Live & Reloaded is also arguably the best looking game on the OG XB. I also agree the game aged great.

Wish MS had modded the Xbox BC games to support emultaor widescreen patches (They actually did it for Grabbed by the Ghoulies on Rare replay so it's actuall possible)

Doesn't helped much for me, the game still barely be able to hold 30 fps for certain scenes still drops well below than quite often. It's no longer an unplayable disaster frame rate wise but it performance overall is still very choppy and stutter unstable 30 fps almost 100% of the time.

Yes. Use to load the iso archive.org/details/xdvdmulleterv10.2beta in order to swap the .xbe files then rebuild the iso. Also for widescreen use a hex editor and follow this; kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJy5oo2EbrZopsU&ab_channel=ReveriePass

You're better off just playing the original N64 version, Live and Reloaded has a LOT of censored content over the original. Nice to see that this version can still be ran though, as this is the best looking official version of the game to date.

The only stuff that gets censored are the swear words and some cutscenes got a little bit changed but imho I think this game is funnier with the bleeps. I mean you pretty much know what they're saying anyways

were there any specific tweaks you made to get this running so well? i cant seem to get decent performance out of this game even at 1x res. my rig isn't as powerful as yours but i thought it'd be more that enough for this RTX 3080 I7 11700K 32GB DDR4 3200

Nope I'm just using the default settings with 1x scale and the 60fps patch. Xemu doesn't really have much settings to tweak unfortunately

same kind of set up 5800x, 3080, 32 gb DDR4 3800 CL 16 getting mostly 59-60 fps but in some areas (big breasted flower area) drops down to the low 30's not sure if theres anything else i can do the mod most definitely helped

I'm always surprised whenever I see the cutscenes are just remodeled from the original N64 version. They still move all janky and it feels weirder with the new graphics. Don't know why Rare didn't remake them to seem more like an Xbox game.

If you're using an nVidia GPU have you gone into nVidia Control panel and disabled "Threaded Optimization"? You can either disable it globally or specific to XEMU. Also for me, I just played it at 1x resolution as 2x was inconsistent.

Well, if you haven't found out in the years that's passed since this comment, I'd likely bet it's a setting in nVidia Control Panel. There is an option called "Threaded Optimization" that is set to auto by default. Go there and turn that setting off either specifically for XEMUor set it off globally. I have it off globally and it's had no ill effect on anything except to allow XEMU to run at full speed (on confirmed games that "should")
