Connect Bluetooth to MY RIDE

Purchased My Ride for my 2018 1290 SAS. Paired with phone no problem but will not pair with headset on Sena 10 u (Arai) or BT V6 so annoying when you spend money on what should be prestige kit and all you get is hassle. I can use my Garmin but why should I KTM need to sort this out

Hello thanks for the video....Does this KTM computer allow you interface with a map app. ?? Like Waze, or Google maps? For turn by turn directions? thanks

It connects to the ktm app for simple turn by turn directions. So if you download the ktm app, you’ll have that simple navi.

Nico van der Steen thanks for the feedback… I just looked up the app first of all it cost $7.99… Second of all the reviews were one star and were absolutely terrible… I think I’ll pass

Hey there, thanks for the vid. Does this feature require any optional package purchases for the 1290 SAR or is it built in? It’s not clear if it requires the optional electronic package upgrade or not. Thanks!

Hi Drope, sorry for the late reply. I think you need KTM MY Ride to connect any bluetooth device to your KTM 1290 SA. MY Ride is an option, it is not standard. The beauty of it is that at this moment there is an software update released .... and i heared some did get MY Ride for free. With that update you are also able to use the MY Ride app on the phone in combo with the MY Ride on the 1290 as a navigation option in your display. You are wrong. You get the KTM My Ride upgrade for free if you already bought it for the 2017 models. I just got mine upgraded. Only the upgrade is free and only if you have a 2017 model. This being said, where is your review of the product after the upgrade? I am interested to know if you succeed make it working with the new Android KTM My Ride app you have to pay for.
