Can't help unfortunately. I no longer have that camera. For me, the recording always worked without problems. But the cardo filtered too much sound so I didn't want to record only the speech without any other sounds.

Hello, I have a problem that after connecting the Insta360 x4 camera with Cardo Edge to record a group conversation, it does not synchronize the sound with the film, i.e. in the editing process the sound is randomly shifted in time relative to the film, and with very long recordings at the end of the film the sound is as if sped up several times. Why is this happening. Best regards.

Is the sound the same as when you connected the older bold model to the X3 camera? You can hear this in my second video. Try resetting the bluetooth connections of the devices and try to connect again. I don't know if it could be caused by, for example, the new firmware?? I don't have that camera anymore, so I can't test it.

No. It's an Audio adapter for a wired mic. In addition, also USB-C connection. Bluetooth connection to the Cardo intercom does not require any additional equipment.

It is easy to change the connection method at any time. You just disconnect the Cardo Edge in the Airpods menu of the X3 camera. (Do not delete!) Next, you start the search in Edge with the connection method you want. When the search is on, I just select Edge in the Airpods menu of the X3 camera and the devices are connected again using the method you want.

When the camera is bridged to the DMC network, the Edge microphone works even when the phone is connected. But when the camera is connected normally via Bluetooth, for example in GPS mode. The sound of Edge microphone is not transmitted to the camera when the phone is connected."

I'm disappointed with Edge that the device has such good noise filtering that only speech is transmitted to the camera. All engine sounds and etc. are cut out. You cannot connect another sound source at the same time, not even a wired one. I have not managed to synchronize the sound recorded with sound recorder properly with a few programs that I have tried. (Davinci resolve and Filmora). The sound is not clear enough, which is produced when riding a bike. I've tried turning off noise cancellation in the settings, but no change is noticeable at all😤

same goes to me..only voice can hear clearly, any other sound eg engine sound cant be heard.

If your mike is insjde your helmet it's not able to hear the ambient noise

@@brighton1950 i'm using open face helmet. so the mic is not covered. i' was thinking to remove the sponge around the mic later to see how it perform.

Doesn't work for Sena 50 series. Insta360 was able to detect the intercom but said "failed to connect" for some reason. Thank you anyways.

Then it doesn't work together at all. I tried to connect the navigator to the camera and I got the same message.
