Connect multiple tanks to air compressor

Video shows how I connected to additional spare tanks to my air compressor so I would have enough air to blow out my sprinklers.

Problem No 1: if you want more volume, remove the quick connects from the tank and the outlet...just run straight lines.

How does removing the quick disconnects give you more volume? I have a similar setup and I'm trying to understand everything better. I also don't see where he's going to connect an output hose to use if you could shed some light. Thanks.

With the way its set up in your video. When you set your regulator say to 90 PSI does it fill all 3 tanks to the same air pressure?

Because he's connecting the two auxiliary tanks from the tank side of the manifold, it should fill all 3 tanks to 125 PSI. I'm thinking this will be ok since the PSI of the main compressor tank (125 PSI) doesn't exceed the PSI of the auxiliary tanks (125 PSI).

Where do you connect the air hose you want to use? I see everything to fill up the tanks but no output for a hose to use the air.

How good does that work i have a lil 3 gallon goodyear one and was thinking kn doing that so i can run my impacts at home

No, it the CFM is all about the pump, not the size of the tank.

I guess it can ad CFM but only until the air pressure in the tank is depleted, once the pump turns on form low air the CFM will depend on the motor. The reason I go the extra tanks is my pump alone can't supply enough air to blow the sprinklers out, but with more tank volume I can get a section done without the air in the storage tanks becoming depleted.

More volume allows him to use his air longer before the compressor motor kicks on to compress more air.
