Good Morning! When you first wake in the morning, it is the perfect time to check in with curiosity, connect with your heart, and truly offer yourself love and kindness for how you go through the rest of your day. This practice will guide you to be present before the busy-ness of your day starts, to prepare you to take care of your needs and your energy. You may even choose to listen to this practice every morning first thing until the practice becomes familiar and you can do it on your own. Develop a strong relationship with yourself because it is the most important relationship and longest lasting relationship you have.
Meet yourself right here this morning with curiosity, with a beginner’s mind because today is a new day, a new beginning. Meet yourself without any expectations and perhaps you will see a fresh perspective.

This is just what I needed this morning. I can imagine not just getting through my day, but doing everything with a calm, loving, accepting attitude. I have a better of idea of how to connect to my inner self after listening to this wonderful meditation.

I have been repeating every day the phrase “all paths are open for me” (in Portuguese “Todos os caminhos se abrem para mim”) and combining it with your meditations had such a positive impact on my life. The mindfulness guide "30 Days to Stop Giving a Shit" by Corin Devaso is pretty good. Simple and easy mindfulness and meditation lessons...but the point is to keep it light and practical. I recommend it. It should be on amazon or a book distributor.

Blessings to you all. The practice of mindfulness is the holistic process of becoming self aware in the current state of your physical, mental and spiritual existence. Our self mastery stems from the knowledge that our minds are very powerful and that it is constantly shaping our realities and the manner in which we engage in the world as we perceive it. Like the masterful captain of a ship at sea, we must navigate our way through the never-ending waves of our own thoughts and feelings, being able to discern those that have been artificially produced and unconsciously suppressed while accessing the inner compass of our greater selves as a guiding North Star. To be mindful is to also engage with intent in order to deliver meaning to our actions, to become one with our true nature to access the divine force so that we may manifest from true inspiration. Being mindful is to be in the here and now, where no past exists and no future need be concerned, the actively conscious form of surrendering. Carry no judgements, ill-will nor machinations of ever-morphing thoughts, as the practice of mindfulness is to reconnect us with those greater aspects of ourselves where kindness and compassion thrives.
