No problem! The sustain pedal is cool if you don’t ever plan on playing a real Hammond but I do recommend unplugging it when you’re practicing with organ sounds to get the true feel. 🙏🏾

Would you always sustain the tonic in the left hand regardless of chord changes? Like what if C wasn’t in the chord? How would you transition smoothly without breaks in the sound. Thanks for this tip!

Great question! Do whatever sounds good but generally speaking you would move to the closest chord tone! So if the next chord was G minor (G, Bb, D) the Bb or D would be the closest notes to the C from the original chord! I hope this makes sense! 🙏🏾
