I had it set up to a wifi and now I have a new wifi and my camera is not detecting the wifi says there is an error therefore not sure what to do

I just tried for about an hour to connect my SX740HS to my new Android phone, there were so many settings etc on both devices that it seems impossible to match them. Bluetooth connectivity is basically false advertising for cameras, my gopro can't be set up with my phone (or my last one) either!
