Prefer blue iris with a raspberry pi or similar sbc, can even go over wifi and pull whatever stream/mjpg/h264 io. And allows an advertisment, directory and other info on the same setup, even perhaps a lobby appointment/voip check in system..

Yes you can log into the camera's web interface from a PC and do snapshots. This will require the camera to be connected to your network.

I'm trying to connect a webcam to a TV - no internet, no recording, just want the tv screen to show what the camera sees. Can't find a way to do it. Camera has a USB output and TV has a USB input, but does not recognize the camera.

Most TV's USB ports supply power and the data that it does support is purely for file searching or to play files off the USB device that you connect to it. You may try reaching out to the webcam manufacturer and TV manufacturer to see what can be done. EXACTLY what I need.... But in trying to eliminate Middle men why the hell does it have a MicroHDMI to HDMI instead of Full HDMI..more room for error.... and how the hell does it have lag if its straight HDMI......I may have to look elsewhere...and ots not even outdoor capable.
