Yamagata Station 15:03 Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa No. 146 bound for Tokyo JR East E3 series train L63 formation
The audio from the train window is recorded in high resolution using a linear PCM recorder.
From Fukushima Station, it connects with the Yamabiko train and runs all the way to Tokyo.
The connected Yamabiko was a limited-time Magical Dream Shinkansen, so the chime inside the train from Fukushima Station was the Tokyo Disneyland 40th anniversary theme song, "Living in Color."
The Tsubasa train passes through the conventional line section from Shinjo Station to Fukushima Station, so its maximum speed is 130km/h.
Additionally, the speed limit is 275 km/h from Fukushima Station to Utsunomiya Station, 240 km/h from Utsunomiya Station to Omiya Station, and 130 km/h from Omiya Station to Ueno Station.
The E3 series will be gradually replaced by the new E8 series that will debut with the timetable revision on March 16, 2024, so you will only be able to ride it for a short period of time.
Due to the SOS button being pressed right after leaving Yonezawa Station, we arrived at Tokyo Station about 4 minutes late.
Stops along the way
Kaminoyama Onsen, Akayu, Takahata, Yonezawa, Fukushima, Koriyama, Utsunomiya, Omiya, Ueno
