@@urmamasmamasmama ..because they "allow" victimization to occur for decades. Both families need closure as a result of the crime committed by this man. In addition, I can contest to be victimized in several facets in the State of Connecticut and despite my reports and constant nagging for some (not all ) departments to do their job, I am still financially suffering and without a vehicle because it was vandalized (systematically destroyed). I am still waiting for over 5+ years for justice for the vehicle, 13 years for my daughter and 40 years for other crimes. No joke ..

Way too many of these kinds of cases, with obvious half-assery on the part of law enforcement. It’s despicable, and it’s time for these so-called investigators to be held accountable for a failure to do their jobs.

This reminds me of a case that happened in a small Texas town I grew up in. This teacher named Kathy Ann and her son, Casey were kidnapped and murdered by this random guy. Only nobody in town thought he was all that random. Everyone suspected her husband, but never proved it. He never saw a day in jail or was even considered, but the situation just screamed his involvement. The guy who killed them said he had been hired by her husband, but the cops dismissed it without question. Kathy and Casey were in church, but had to rush out of there mid-service. (Casey wasn't her husband's biological child btw) Kathy told some friends before church started that once her husband paged her, they would have to leave early to go shoe shopping for Casey. Why the husband couldn't have waited until after church is beyond me, but they never make it to the store. They come rushing out of church to find that Kavin (the killer) just happened to be waiting near her car. He orders them into the trunk at gun point. Now this is summer and terribly hot, so that must've been torture in itself. He drives to some out of the way dirt road, robs Kathy and then strangles her and her son. In a small southern town, a mentally impaired African American guy killing a Caucasian lady and her young son meant certain death... and that's exactly what he received. Death. He's dead and gone... but her husband QUICKLY remarried and moved away.
