How to Connect a Mouse to an Arduino?

One good usage of this project would be the fusion of movement data and IO of the buttons for a small portable printer.

And of course some apparatus would be necessary to be created to attatch the arduino, mouse, printer cartridge and batteries in the same place. Perhaps the required processing power would be to much. Perhaps an raspberry pi pico could handle these tasks

I never even used a PS2 mouse, only keyboards because ps2 keyboards are surprisingly very good
