I recently purchased the 400RVS from ya and so glad I watched this video. I have used tons of air compressors and pneumatic tools but I thought, that Eric will teach me something, low and behold, did you know there is a primary hose and an extension hose. Totally had to move my hoses around because I am setting up my bag for operations. I have the wife sitting in the passenger seat, me with my stopwatch, and we are running emergency drills 😂. Go Go Go, we have air leaking from the rear passenger trailer tire! This is a drill, This is a Drill. I did register my product and I am so glad I watched your video which did teach me some lessons. Thank you. You are very patient with us and I appreciate it.

You are the best! We did purchase the Viair 400P RV based on your excellent recommendation and I am very happy that you have taken the time to show us novices and newbies (I have never used an air compressor before...and 40 years ago blew up a bike tire....so...) how to make the connections. Last thing I want to do is let all the air out of my duallies and not be able to get the stuff back in!! You cleared up the mystery for me about what the little adapter was that was zip-tied to the long extender piece. Whew. I'm ready to go now!

Very helpful, just a day too late for me - now I know what I should have done 😂. It would be helpful if you’d show how to use the dually chuck, I really struggled to get it to work, air kept coming out both sides of it. I do appreciate that you make the effort to put together these videos 👍

Does the 400 come with the 45 degree chuck for dully’s, 40 in ext, and hand trigger type gun?
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the 400 and the 450 come with the same hoses and attachments.

How can I attach a ball chuck. My gen 3 reese gooseneck only takes a ball chuck.
@Technorv Жыл бұрын
To install a ball chuck you would need to purchase that separate from a hardware store and you can connect it to a quick connect fitting to allow you to air your tires that way.

@@Technorv Thanks. I did purchase the 450RVS from Techno RV. I was very happy to find out the the provided HIGH Quality screw valve fits my Reese goose box airbag valve perfectly. It is the only non ball chuck to fit. Sounds like you get what you pay for. Also, I used a portable battery instead of my truck battery. Its the same battery that I use for my Diesel transfer tank. I am happy to say that I added 10 pounds of air to each of my fifth wheel tires quickly. I had 100 pounds and needed 110. The pump did each tire in less than 2 minutes. (I timed it). That is extremely fast.

I have a 411/2 foot 5th wheel Cedar Creek not sure if you recommend 400 TVs or 450? Would appreciate your imput
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
Hi Bill! The 400P-RVS would be plenty for you. The only real difference between the two is their duty cycle which means the 450 can run a bit longer which is helpful with the larger motorhome tires. The 400 is actually faster and is more than enough for your fifth wheel tires. Thanks for the question!

@@Technorv I forgot to mention I have H rated 171/2 inch tires with cold psi rating of 123 psi. Would that make any difference? My compressor gets to 100 psi and then just flattens out dispute gauge going to 150? I appreciate all your customer service and have been happy with all products I have bought from you. I hope the one I order will work as has many have said?
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
That wouldn't be a problem. It's rated to 150 PSI and won't have a problem with that size tire. I know you'll love the VIAIR! It's an awesome product!

I have the S version which I purchased from TechnoRV. That hose extension is a back savior! Can the 400 ViAir be left in the open, like in a truck bed, or should it be covered and protected from the elements?
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
I would not leave it out in the elements, no.

I have the older RV unit. Do you sell the 40" hose? That make the job much easer.
@Technorv3 жыл бұрын
I am not aware of an add-on 40-inch hose that works with the older unit.

The tires on my Montana 5th wheel have to be aired to 110 psi. Do I want the 400RVS or the 400 P compressor. I haven’t watched all of the videos but the ones I did only speak about the different classes of RVs but not the air pressure required by the tires on those different class units. Can you help me with this?

How stupid are people that you need to explain this common sense stuff? Lol
