Absolutely beautiful...I can still hear my mother's voice singing it to me when I was a small child. There's nothing like the lilt of an Irish voice singing an Irish ballad.

An old friend of mine from Limerick...Tommy Drennan(and The Monarch's Showband) had a hit with this song in Ireland in 1967....Where are the years gone...

He taught me the Connemara Lullaby. If I'd no money in a pub in England, I'd sing the Connemara Lullaby and pints would appear at my table.
