This might be the best episode so far! And it sets up so many potential future episodes and plot lines! I loved the tease of Anguirus and Megaguirus, can’t wait to see their designs in full. And Hedorah’s a pretty interesting development. He seems to have come out of absolutely nowhere and casually steals Godzilla’s iconic role of wrecking Tokyo. Wonder what’s gonna happen with him in the future? Overall, I personally think this is the best Godzilla analog horror out there! I hope it really blows up soon because it deserves to!

The setup is almost GMK-esque, with a group of guardian gods being reawakened to defeat Godzilla. With his species being dead it'd be interesting to see the remains of one be reanimated into a wrathful corpse just like GMK. I mean the idea was set up in this episode to have Godzilla potentially fight himself, one Godzilla creates life while the other is hellbent on destroying it. (EDIT): I'm bloody stupid and realized that this could possibly just be teasing Kiryu later down the line. Oops.

What makes it worse it was supposed to be an attempt to revive mothra and rodan to deal with godzilla but they ended creating something worse. Really, really curious where's this going. But with it looking like a failed (or maybe just the "best possible outcome") version of Mothra, would that mean it still has this ability?
