I’m bringing you along on an actual day in my life. Look inside a day in the life of a minimalist and full-time traveler. As a digital nomad, my intentional life reflects travel. My minimalist lifestyle focuses on simplicity and living minimally. This next chapter in life is one of exploration and discovery. This documentary-style vlog shows how simple living can look any way you want.

Thank you for this beautiful look at your lovely life. My husband and I are in our sixties and just starting our retirement life. We are leaving the United States to explore the world as you are doing. It really helped me when you described keeping a routine while you travel, I am experiencing a little anxiety about it, and I think that making sure we keep up our exercise everyday, and the other little things we like to do on a daily basis like writing, reading, preparing delicious food and so on will ground and calm me. Would you mind sharing where you are staying in Costa Rica it looks so beautiful, I understand if you would rather not. I look forward to following along with you on your journey.

Thank you Connie for your videos and inspiration🙏 This is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a comment on KZbin, to let you know how much I look forward to watching your progress in a truly inspirational life full of peace, love, self care, family and travel. I’m aspiring to have the life you have so each week of your videos inspire me to get closer to that goal. Finally I want to extend an invitation to you and your husband to come to Cambridge in England when you are visiting your daughter in Germany and you would be delighted to host you and show you around our beautiful city. Take care Connie and keep up the great work and videos with your unique positive energy and generosity in making them for people like me. Sending you lots of love and gratitude. Veena 🙏😘🥰

Hi Connie! Yes, dealing with 2 cancers along my life I totally agree with you, taking care of myself must be my highest priority. I'll be a better person for others and I'll be free. Free from illness, in mind and connect with God. I loved your video, it inspired me.

Such a lovely place to be present and alive surrounded by such beautiful scenery. Your daily yoga is not only good for maintaining your strength and resilience, but also great for balance. As you age, your balance is crucial in preventing falls.Your coconut water with fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with avocado and spinach, and meditations by the beach with the surf sounds wonderful! Enjoy. 💜

Hello Connie: Thoroughly enjoying the videos. You are right in saying that your health must be given full priority. I too have been intermittent fasting for about 7 years. (OMAD). That along with a consistent workout program and grounding has made a significant difference in my overall health. (I'm 67 years old). I've learned much from you about prioritizing my spiritual well-being and while still a work in progress, has resulted in reduced stress levels and the ability to appreciate and enjoy the simpler things in life. That along with seeiing the good that's around me and being grateful definitely leads to a more satisfying way of living. Have a great stay in Costa Rica. All the best. Mike from Canada

HI Connie! this video was just what I needed. My life is so STRESSFUL right now. I've been dealing with my sister and trying to close on our mother's home, that we co own. Closing our mother to Cancer was traumatic enough, but now we have been at odds and it has totally DRAINED me. We are only yards from the finishing line and truthfully, these last few yards seem like hte toughest! But watching your video, and by the way I often wonder "Where is Connie today?" has calmed my spirit. Reminded me to take control of my emotions and not let others dictate my sense of well being. Thank you.

So pleased I found your channel, Connie, through my KZbin recommendations. I am from the UK and I'm getting lots of inspiration from watching and listening to you. I am a young 72, but alas I didn't keep myself more supple in my younger days and my body is no longer as flexible as it used to be. Should have had a Connie in my life years ago!

Such a simple & peaceful life 🌻 Just a side note: if you like drinking coconut water (from a coconut), opt for young coconuts. The one you used in your video is old coconut, which isn’t good for drinking (its meat is more useful than its juice). Have a nice day 😊

CR...not a place for everyone. Many mosquitoes and bugs, many varieties of spiders. And extremely hot and humid. The sun is extremely intense because you are very close to the equator. Cash flow is always an issue for those of us who travel when not yet retired. Congrats on you & husband making the leap to (almost) no possessions! You've done it now instead of later, saving your adult children much work!🙂 This is a gift to them as well as yourselves.

Connie, I love your website, but do wonder how long one can be a vagabond before you need a 'patch of grass' of your own? You can be a minimalist and still have roots somewhere. I travel often, but it always feels great to come home to my own place and not be bunking at someone else's home. I hope you enjoy this chapter and look forward to your adventures.

Great question! No, my husband and I feel safe wherever we travel. I find that each country and city has some areas that are a bit rougher and we avoid these areas. That's wonderful! I fast for 16 hrs and eat in an 8 hr window. When I started intermittent fasting I eased my way into accepting the new schedule. I would prolong eating by one hour and keep this for one week - 10 days. When my body would acclimate I would prolong eating by one hour for a week, and so on. It took a little longer but this way I never felt starved.

@@ConnieRiet Thank You and Thanks for taking us on you beautiful journey ( for those of us afraid to try new things !) we live on a beautiful farm we bought 19 years ago and built my dream log home , we do travel or did, last year my sister was diagnosed with AML and I spent the last year taking her for Doctor appointments, chemo and blood transfusions and just helping her through her horrible journey as she lived alone. She passed last month my daughter and I at her side, now my 14 year old pup can hardly walk so I’m caring for him , one day soon hubby and I can head back to Mexico to Cabo and Cancun and soak up the sun as we do enjoy going there.
