Connor Bedard won't be taking the ice, but he's happy to still be a part of the event. He joined NHL Tonight to talk about his experience so far and helping out with the Skills Competition last night.

Mike Johnson is a Maple Leaf fanboy. During some Leaf broadcasts it sounds like he’s crying when a call doesn’t go the Leafs’ way. Kevin Bieksa is the best young broadcaster I’ve heard in a long time and he doesn’t show an obvious bias.

I mean you could maybe argue that if it there wasn’t the stipulation of every team having to be represented. But he’s far and away been the best player on the Hawks. Mrazek has also been huge, Vlasic has been a revelation, and Dickinson’s having a career year, but none of those players scream allstar like Bedard does.
