High ankle sprains take 6 - 12 weeks. It would happen to players a lot before they implemented no-touch icing. The deltoid ligament strain depends on the severity but at worst can be a couple months and at best a few days.

you lose some credibility in not pointing out that his right leg was TRIPPED. He did not just fall - he was TRIPPED. because the nhl refs are not competent - does not mean he was not TRIPPED. Do appreciate your insights on the ligaments. He deserves some time off - so lets hope he can get it. This will give the mgt and other players a chance to show the skill that they bring to their jobs - and how deserve the hi pay that they receive

Guys that think they know hockey, next you will be saying Trudeau is great for Canada! His foot had a slight hook………not dirty, this whole sequence took 1.5 seconds……..the guy was trying to swing at the puck and was late………hooking or a trip call but not dirty……..and I am an oilers fan. This team needs this, take some lime light off 97 and 29 a bit let others shine, they will shine!
