I’m going to break character for a moment and elaborate on a few things. This is a hilarious story told for comedic effect but I’d never have booked the room without Pete’s approval. It was indeed a pricey room - albeit not quite as much as quoted in the video. I just wanted Pete to have a good time as the trip was sort of a belated honeymoon post Covid and he wanted some hotel suggestions for somewhere special., And as he mentioned, they did indeed enjoy the stay (even though the damn robbery was abhorrent). But I was with Pete when we booked the hotel and it was done in agreement. I know I exaggerate the Dickish behavior for comedic effect but please don’t take every story at face value. The older you get the more you realise the only thing we have in life is our memories and I genuinely wanted to make sure Pete and Yuki made the most of their time in London - a rare and much deserved holiday! And from what I gather they enjoyed the room (they got an upgrade which is awesome) and the afternoon tea to match. Next up, I want to track down the monsters who stole their money and passports and get them to pay in full.

thanks for clarifying. Its getting abit messy and not quite that straight forward it seems. If it was agreed by both of you, then all is fine from my perspective. I also have to say, Pete adds great value on your travels etc so he is a great asset. "Bringing" along Pete ...adds sooo much value to you & Connor and us. espessially when with how expensive it is value wise better off going to Leichester, Nottingham, Tenby (if wanting to go to the beaches) more stuff to see apart from concrete jungle and museums are quite cheap or even free (thanks leichester)

@@bradofwales the thing about the UK is that 1) don't visit the UK its not a place for visiting its a place for the locals to despair, 2) you are genuinely crazy if you think anyone would travel thousands of miles and go to fucking nottingham or Leicester and be like "yeah its so nice that i'm in a place thats just as unfriendly as london but with nothing to do instead." I don't like London much but at least the tourist value is at the very least existent. pembrokeshire is a shout though.
