The discussion about Conor not being same since Khabib fight is simple; Conor always get his rematch whenever he lose in MMA since he become a star; loses to Nate, gets an immediate rematch. Loses to Poirier, gets his rematch. For the first time after Conor become a star in MMA, he felt powerless in MMA first time because Conor's star power and UFC together couldn't force Khabib to do a rematch with him. That made Conor feel weak and shattered his confidence.

In my humble opinion, I think Mike has this great wrestling talent and chooses not to use it, basically choosing to not win fights over the brawl, where he loses the fight but gains fan base. Fighters like the honor in the sport, and should want to be the best. Chandler clearer can care less about being the best as you see with the Conor fight. Waited forever for the big pay day, while he ages. That mentality is killing the sport. No more tough guys, just a bunch of O’Malley and Conor wannabes that care more about the look than being the best and it pulls the sport closer and closer to WWE. God knows the drama-club jock-riding, closeted boy lovers that live vicariously through another man’s antics and professional accomplishments., love it. So much so they defend their actions like a beaten down girlfriend and it’s pathetic. It’s making the sport one sided and it’s pissing the true fans and MMA fight-lovers cause dude loses too much.

There is literally no way to know whether the Floyd money changed Conor or the loss to Khabib changed Conor. If he had fought and won against someone else before losing to Khabib but after fighting Floyd, we would know it was Khabib, but he didn't. We don't know for sure if he was corrupted by the money in the leadup to Khabib or if he was training like normal and was in amazing shape and just lost and then he lost his fire. My personal belief is the money more so changed him (like it has with soooo many fighters). But I am sure the loss to Khabib made it worse.

Josh, I like you man, like your analysis but the way you're stuck up about Conor especially when it comes to the whole Khabib-Mcgregor thing, cmon man!! Atleast John seems quite honest and acknowledges both Mcgrergor and Khabib's success. If you're a home boy, that's cool, but you don't have to rub it on us like DC does. Mcgregor has paved way to many aspiring fighters and is a symbol of hope and motivation to make it big in the fight business. Khabib is great for sure but give the man(Mcgregor) some respect, he deserves it.
