In the end I'm sure the UFC doesn't mind Conor pulling out. shitty balcony seats were up around $1200 before Conor pulled out and the venue was pretty close to sold out. They get poatan v jiri in there and most of those people aren't going to ask for refunds. Then they get to jack the prices up again whenever Conor does fight. The same seats for the O'Malley vs Sterling fight in Boston were half the price - just to give some perspective on the markup.

This is probably me defending Uncle Chael here a little, and yes, as a biased fan. Think about it from his perspective, you, Chael Sonnen, a company man and loyal to the brand that helped you and your career, and has a great presence on KZbin with a great fan base. I have been following this channel for around 2 months now, but I find the content to be overly negative and pessimistic, often delivered by a male presenter who comes across as overly critical. As someone who watches a lot of MMA content on KZbin, I must say this is the first channel that I no longer find enjoyable. While it's important to discuss negative aspects of the sport like fight cancellations, injuries, and questionable judging, I feel that there is an excessive amount of negativity directed towards the fighters themselves. In this video by itself there were negative remarks made about Chael, Conor, and Chandler, with the segment days back on Chandler's mental state being particularly distasteful.

I think mcgregor broke his leg to get out of the porier fight knowing he was losing and now I think he broke his toe on purpose to get out of the fight because Chandler is going to run over mcgregor like a freight train if he is not 💯 prime mcgregor and even then he may get Conor. So if this fight does 1.5 mil then yes, Chandler will likely make anywhere from 8-10 times what he normally makes. Chandler's base pay is 500K. This fight will sell well over 1 million ppvs, like i said closer to 1.5 million buys. That would be the top tier for points (anything over 600K buys gets $2.50 per buy). 1.5 million times $2.50..... which would be $3,750,000 plus the base pay of $500,000. That's $4,250,000 total pay. If you think waiting for that is stupid then..... stick to KZbin. These aren't made up numbers, these are how ufc ppv points actually get paid out.
