For those saying Conor is looking huge and that RDA is gonna get bullied, they both have the same nutritionist (forgot his name now). But he said in an interview that RDA walks around about 10lbs heavier than Conor. The fact of the matter is that Conor will not gain more muscle for 155 IF he intends to defend that 145 belt, because the drop to 145 would be even worse than it already is. RDA on the other hand is in optimal condition for 155 and WILL be leaner. If he can maintain muscle mass, he can easily bounce between 145 and 155, but he will not be in his optimal shape for 155. People need to realise that RDA is FAR more of a threat than Aldo ever was, under these conditions.

This interview is 9 mins and 43 secs and Connor was breathing heavy from beginning to end. This can give an indication of what might happen if the fight goes on into the later rounds. Generally speaking, the breathing rate and heart rate should get fairly close to resting within a few mins of training for athletes like this but Connor was huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf.

Ya buddy, I knew that was a major concern because even after full fights most fighters stop breathing heavy almost immediately but that wasn't the case for Conor. The man had not and still has not acclimated to this weight. He is essentially swinging arms around that are substantially heavier.
@MrAMG7208 жыл бұрын
he's not God he's a human being, anybody would breathe heavily after what 2-3 hours work out and then having a 9 min interview,
@javierbautista20238 жыл бұрын
UFC gets a lot of money and pays shit to the fighters. Conor knew that, waited for his time, talked the talk, walked the walk, and now he is getting what he deserves. UFC will treat him very well know because he has the power to distroy them

How can people not love this guy? Brutally honest about everything. You just don't see that shit anymore. I just don't know how he wears normal clothes with those massive balls of his! Let's see Jon Jones hop up to heavyweight after he beats up DC. Or Robbie move up to fight Rockhold or Rockhold fight Jones. Pffft won't fn happen. How awesome would it be to see Conor go all the way and take the belt from Jon Jones.

Mgregor and rousey are the main reasons UFC is overtaking boxing!. Boxing nowadays is boring and full of bums.
@slicvm8 жыл бұрын
No its because of the surge of newbie UFC fans like you.
@callum33838 жыл бұрын
+slicvm I've always loved UFC better than boxing. UFC matches the best fighters against the best fighters in the world while in boxing you get a heavyweight champion or a welter weight champion fighting bums like your dad.
@davecom38 жыл бұрын
+slicvm point stand though. More interesting fighters and fights. Boxing needs another Tyson.
@Despond8 жыл бұрын
+callum3383 Rousey is over she won't fight again even though she said so after the latest finding with her head trauma. If she does fight it will be a ticket to hospital for long stay. No the UFC is Connor and it will also be Jon Jones once he is unleashed FINALLY. Jones has the potential to be a McGrego but @ LHW+HW, which will be greater if he dominants as much.

It's in Conor's contract that he doesn't want any press conferences for this fight, he wants to just fight, no press
@lefthook68048 жыл бұрын
Well that is maybe cuz he wants more time to prepare cuz this is a hard fight for him or he thinks that he doesn't need to attack him verbally like Aldo cuz he is a bum version of him.

+AaronJacko123 but there is already a press conference you dumbass
@jacko46938 жыл бұрын

Basically he's been in constant training camp mode for the last 6 years. He just trains 8-12 hours 7 days a week He's not happy if he's not training or fighting. With that approach he will accomplish everything he says he will.
@andrewreed71208 жыл бұрын
I understand if people don't like him because he comes off as cocky. But he thinks the way every athlete thinks. Every high school, college, and pro athlete thinks that way inside their head. If you want to be the best you have to in your head be confident. You have to think no one can beat me I'm the best. If you don't believe it you won't make it. That's what he does. Him expressing himself like this allows himself to help his own mental abilities along with getting in others heads. Yeah we like the humble athletes but for some to stay on top, there own mentality has to change. You could be the biggest basest guy around but with out the ability to understand the sport that guy will never win. Yeah it gets annoying but he's not playing for fans. He's playing for his own success and happiness. The same reason every other kid plays a sport. (And the money) . If humbleness doesn't work for him then he shouldn't be using it. Screw the fans. He's doing what loves and he's doing it his way

PUT ON THE WEIGHT PERFECT. going to bet my money on this dude again. ko's this brazilian dude in 50 seconds, then moves up to 185, skips 170 for later, then goes for the 205b belt. then comes back to get the 170 belt. defends them all and then wins the heavyweight title. remember bruce lee kung fu master did it back then . this irishman is really bruce lee's long lost grandson, look carefully and yu see the resemblence.
