After watching the whole Floyd presser I really agree with you. Talking about needing rest and hot tubs and messages and the whole "hands on the tired face" thing, I really think that everything he is doing is to get McGreggor's camp talking about how weathered and tired the guy is so that Connor comes out ready to blast him immediately, throwing all his power into every punch for 3 rounds straight. I'm no expert in boxing or MMA, but what seems like an obvious idea would be that Floyd is much more aware of the energy/stamina pacing of a boxing match while Connor literally has no experience with it. I'm sure Floyd will want to use Connor's excitement and adrenaline against him in the opening rounds. There is no doubt Connor has powerful striking, but that won't help him beyond round 5 when the gas is out of the system. Regardless, I'm watching the fighting and routinely talking to strangers about it, so I guess all the hyped worked.

there're 2 outcomes: 1. Conor does catch Floyd in earlier rounds w one of his power shots and KO's Floyd. 2. Conor does not manage to catch Floyd early, Floyd avoids/slips the power shots, it goes the full rounds and Floyd wins by decision. If it goes the full rounds both will have trouble w stamina as Floyd is older now and Conor is notorious for not being able to go passed 8mins. Watch both Nate fights as an example.) Interesting how Conor is almost playing the villain/heel role here and Floyd is playing a more humbler/matured Floyd. Gonna be one for the Ages.
