Reminds me of Elliott the way he stops and then finishes

I remember when Pitchfork reviewed a Show in Omaha that Bright Eyes and Joyner both played, and Pitchfork actually discussed the performance of this song in particular, leading me to believe that this version was from that show, as the only other place I had heard it before happening upon your channel was on a Bootleg I had, the spoken introduction excised, and the date listed as the date of the aforementioned Benefit Show in Omaha. Obviously, the version I have (whatever the reason) lists the incorrect date. May I ask where you found this? Thank you so much for the Post! - You've aided in opening the day with an unexpected clarification!

I traded for the show a long time ago...I don't know if that is still a thing people do? (like, literally, sending CDs through the US mail.) I imagine some people still trade but it's probably predominantly digital/cyberspace now?

Late to the party, but this is from a 2001 live recording in Seattle. It's an actual release that sold in record stores at the time, and it's called "Here Is The Young Man". I bought my copy in like 2006 at Repo Records in Philly. He fucks up almost every song, it's amazing. That recording has my favorite version of "Entryway Song" (or "Entry Way Song" as it's written on the back of the CD) on it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oWm8g2mGn9WVodk
