That’s a great idea, but my son is sick and on a very limited diet. I don’t think he can eat 7 days of meals!! It’s a low-histamine, low oxalate diet, and it’s HARD!

@@Tinyteacher1111 I've been on two different restrictive diets this year and actually found it easier when I had the meals pre-planned.

Your adorable dog (whose name I forget) hasn't realised how much bigger she is now she's not a puppy any more. I laughed at the way she plonked herself down on your lap! I remember how you weren't that wild about having a dog to start with but now look at the two of you - she's a proper Mummy's girl! Thank you for the decluttering tips - always helpful, Laura. 😀

I was so excited when I saw you uploaded this because I've been going crazy this weekend trying to declutter my tiny apartment! One of the things I did though is use Facebook to sell a piece of furniture I no longer use, and I gave away a whole box of stuff to a lady through my local Buy Nothing group for free! I didn't have to leave my building to get rid of stuff that way and saved a trip to the thrift store (where I would be tempted to buy more stuff lol)! Another thing I'm doing for the new year is getting DIY's and repairs I've been putting off done. I'm planning on getting a ripped coat repaired at the tailor and I'm supergluing a chip on an old teapot. (P.S. your Christmas Sweater is amazing)

Brilliant idea to make a list of things not to buy! I think there are many people who can relate to the pandemic and having inaccessible items for so long made my hoarding tendencies worse! I have to keep reminding myself of it. Amazon makes is wayyyy too easy to buy more than what you need! Lol!

five minute yummy spinach - japanese oshitashi - my recipe is - wash and rough chop spinach, put in pan, cover and cook for 60 seconds or until just barely wilted, plunge in cold water to cool, squeeze to remove as much water as you can, mix with a bit of soy sauce, a bit of sugar, a bit of sake, sesame seeds and a bit of asian (toasted sesame oil). it takes longer to read this than to make it, serve room temp or cold.

Love that meal plan idea and also the two lists. I struggle so much with that one thing. I def also need the flex with not being locked into certain food on a certain day Bcuz there’s no telling what my mood will be or what I’ll want to eat. 😅😅 I guess what also helps me is having mostly good choices (stuff I will like and actually eat) and having some easy and quick low effort/time options. For my lists tho I may have three. Need. Want. Don’t even think about it. I can be really bad also about stocking up on my fave items..esp when they go on clearance and I worry if they’ll stop making it. (Or if there have been times when I had difficulty finding it at all). 😂😂 But I have found that very few of these things are “forever things.” You think you’ve found “the ones” but then you realize a lot of that stuff is like flings and better stuff really does come along or your needs change over time etc.

@@laurie6644 Yes. I agree. These times really can make you wonder what will be too expensive or simply unavailable, that’s for sure (and I def think esp with food supplies). Not having the lotion or hair gel won’t kill me but starvation would be a bigger problem.

As for hanging clothes and turning them all backwards from the start Sounds silly. makes more sense to leave them hanging where they are and after they are worn washed and rehung then you change the hanger to face toward you.
