As I’ve gotten older, I listen, but haven’t paid attention to band member changes etc. Kiko has completely resurrected my passion for music at 49 yrs old. Favorite player of all time now! Blows me away. Sounds creepy-but I can just sit and watch him play all day. Wow💪🏼

George Simmons what? No. Kiko is amazing, definitely the 2nd best guitarist they've ever had, and one of the top guitarists today full stop. But Marty will never be surpassed. Dystopia is a superb album, I'm glad Kiko is in the band now but Marty's legacy is near untouchable.

skobywan kenobi I agree with you if we're only talking about megadeth work that Marty is the best, he played the rip solos after all. But overall as a guitarist I prefer kiko due to his solo stuff and how he makes it so unique with infusion of different genres

I love it when musicians explain the intervals behind what they're playing I grew up learning from videos where the instructor was always examining the use of intervallic structures of scales, modes and chords. Most lessons I see just show tab and a very watered down version of the theory behind the song. Minus the key maybe they'll mention that. I'm a firm believer in music theory. Learning even just the basics will propel your playing to new levels.

Excellent composition, simpler than it looks, but full of little touches to enrich it. I love how the bossa nova style dissonances fit in so well with Megadeth's riff styles, with Dave using chromatics so much. Learning it myself already.

Dude no lie I'm a hardcore Metallica fan but always was a Megadeth fan also. Dysptopia is mind blowing. Conquer or Die when it kicks in a 1:16 turns me into an animal. I haven't touched a guitar since I was 16 and I'm now 39 going on 40. The way you teach and your kind nature makes me want to start again!

Kiko, I think we might need to address your definition of difficult, LoL! I have played for years and am primarily self taught, but I learned picking arpeggios incorrectly, I use my thumb and index finger primarily and that's worked for most things, but the beautiful thing about a masterpiece like this is it's just awesome enough to make me dig into it, which has helped to identify my mistake, and while trying to undo a three and a half decade long mistake definitely sucks, I'm a better musician because of it, and for that I definitely thank you!!!

This solo low-key sound like something straight from Castlevania, with the Spanish tone in the beginning, to the gothic/neo-classical sound for the riffs and solo. When i first heard it i thought and still think this is the best song ever, I even wrote a song based on it. I just wanted to know what inspiration set this whole song up.

This is one of the coolest sounding instrumentals thanks to Kiko and his flamenco Latin style of playing is one of my favorite scales. This song is probably my favorite more recent Megadeth songs, this and Killing Road is another good one the solo is cool.
