What you needed was the ground penetrating radar equipped bucket on the 210 to allow you to make a full rockyological assessment of the underlying rockyology prior to attempting to cut the 4-5 feet grade discussed at the end of the day. This job has some awesome potential (for both good and bad) but with the academic talents of Aaron, you’ll do no wrong.

Square rock rolling downhill. Hilarious comment by Arron I don't think anyone would have seen coming. It actually was a very good observation. You guys tackle some of the toughest challenges with determination not seen in other individuals. There's absolutely no doubt that the property owner is 100 percent impressed with your work.

Nice start on the pond build. One thing that would be helpful is dynamite or MOAB! I know MBTS carries a lighter. If he’s brave enough to stand downhill with flat boulders rolling at him, lighting a short fuse would be a piece a cake. Definitely be a good video you all running for cover.

Thanks for sharing your interesting videos. Reminds me of a parcel I dreamed of buying over 25 years ago. Was about 9 acres with probably 2 additional bonus acres across the front that was at probably an 80deg angle. Would of needed a switch back just to get into the property. Was definitely cost prohibitive as a building site but looked like it would of been great fun to build the access road. Or in my case watching it getting built. The very front of the property had a creek that bordered the road and the cliff face for about 80% of the property width and was wooded. An entrance gate at the bottom of the switch back would of definitely deferred just about all door knockers and spectators. By bonus aces I mean more surface area than actual square footage. The apparent acreage that is on the hypotenuse rather than the X axis or the buried Y axis. Looking forward to seeing more of this build and how you resolve the puzzle given to you to fix. Wishing you, Arron, and your family the best.

For just a second or so, at about 12:55 the shadows and sun angle gave the impression that the tracks on the dozer were not moving during the push. Like it was gravity and the steepness causing the dozer to slide even with the blade down and rolling dirt. Even with how angles of rise and fall look betraying in the camera view, this site looked like it was just a bit on the side of the camera really doesn't show what it's like. I think also turning where about the dozer was sitting at when discussing shooting the gap. That would make for a better road because there would be less chance of a run away going down the hill in a stage format rather than one long ramp. But the trouble is, sometimes what would be ideal for the finished product is pretty well impossible with the limited tools available currently.

Watched when Matt quoted for this job, did think then that it was going to be a real doozy. It would have been interesting to see if you could have have got the 850j up there, think though the road up that hill as well as being a little bit on the steep side was a bit loose. Looking forward to the next one. I suppose to make that slope a lot easier you could have done an Andrew C, and got someone to dynamite that hillside. You would definitely have enough material, mind you you might not have had a hill. 😂🤣👍

Mike is trying but seriously, Think he is gonna need to teeth on the bucket before he gets that rock out. Dang Aaron, that is a serious drop off edge..Love Aaron's comment of, " you know it's steep when you got flat rock rolling down past ya"..
