Solid advice Remy. I'll just add that it is good to always understand the plan of action for your medical care, ask as many questions as needed. It never hurts to get a second opinion, from an actual specialist MD, even if that involves a delay and inconvenience. This is especially useful if your primary doctors do not have much experience with athletes.

My riding buddy broke his collarbone. His 1st time back at this specific park, he crashed on the same trail. Fortunately he was able to walk away, and he didn't get hurt badly. After an injury it's really important to ease back into it, and to build up confidence, and muscle memory. Edit: I didn't mean the trail Rémy was on, I'm referring to the trails I ride.
