I used to love conquerors blade and watched always ur vids, my pc was too bad for the game sadly but recently i got a new pc and i can finally play, many thanks for the guide now i understand how stuff works.

Good stuff, one small thing to mention are the mercenary units players can rent every week. Especially now where they are levelled and equipped with good doctrines they are a great way to new players to test units and hence see what they might want to grind towards, get some fighting power quickly, and save on bronze.

I’ve been running a Glaive with full guardsman heavy armor, full spec into strength. Absolutely love the class.

Glaive is the best class in the game. Better than the spear with better armour and its the balance between skill and power. Its a powerful class but takes skill to master. The weaker classed take skill just to keep up with it and maul is just a no skill class.

note here:season 4 is the best for starting since it has 1 rare 2 epic 1 golden unit pretty basic but also has 2 other lines of quests 1 of them giving you lots of unit medals and also 2 more signaculum boxes 1 tier 3 and 1 of them tier 4 and they can also be used to get more unit medals if you dont have anything to unlock that you need from those tiers andthe other line gives lots of skillpoints which would make it so much eaiser to change weapons because you can upgrade the "better" weapon

The only bad thing, mostly for newer players, is that unlocking seasonal units takes WAY too long and actively REQUIRES you to play in certain ways to do the challenges in any speed that isn't "snail".

Yeah unlocking some of the older units requires a pretty crazy amount of challenges

Not watching this as not a beginner but did you cover the early matches and bots? See that all the time where people dont realise the first 60 or so levels you are in bot games and they are really useful for levelling up and doing the F4 quests to get a gold unit really fast. Started a new character recently and amazed at how quickly you now get decent units and unlock your weapon abilities .

Yeah covered that below 60 is mostly bots, f4 quests as you say are a great way to get a t4 and t5 unit for free which makes a huge difference to the new player experience

I’m lvl 216 and I planned it all, I started in the middle of s10 a few days after houndsmen came out and I already have: Catas, Hussars, Pavise, Monastics, and even reapers! Along with palace guards, longbows, greyhairs, etc, not to brag tho!. Now I’m on modao stage 2 last 2 challenges!

I hadn’t played since season two, and only had one golden era unit. With all the new new player benefits, I’ve now added 3 more golden era units and a number of the purple ones as well over the last few weeks. I was over level 100 when I left so I was thrown in to real players with older out of meta units, but within a few weeks was competitive again.

A big QoL change i've been wanting for many seasons is that the current season's unit challenges are locked in and you could select another season to grind besides the current one. That way newer players won't be playing catch-up as much, and if you missed a season you won't have to play twice as much the next season. Also i'm not sure if they ever changed this but don't older seasons require more assignments to be completed per stage? Reducing that to normal (or even lower it!) would be a great change since quests like TW battles aren't very viable for low level players. And the unique doctrines from the quests given to you in the city should also be unlockable after the season ends

I actually find that the bots fight better than people in some of my matches. I've lost a few haha. Once I get higher, I hope I find more players that don't leave their units behind and just run face first into my schiltron kill boxes or palace guard walls

Hi im currently using the Nodachi as my weapon. I was able to unlock the short sword at the spear without any trouble. When i wanted to unloch the new weapon the scimitar it says i first have to unlock it. How to I do that?

What's the point of weapon quality? Is it scaling damage or just durability that is the difference? I reconditioned my weapon and chose the better stats but I 'diminished' the weapon by dropping its quality. Is that a bad thing?

Hi Evo, thanks a lot for taking the time of doing this kind of videos! I would like to ask if the matchmaking is still extremely brutal with new players? I wanted to start playing this last year i think, but it was brutal when i had second era units facing 5th or what where the maximum, no matter what strategy i adopted i was loosing fast lol. Yeah unfrtounately the matchmaking can still be pretty brutal! There have been a few improvements like better mercenary units, the F4 quests give t4 & t5 units for free now which can help you get started easier but you will still be facing tough matchmaking past level 100

Is there another guide that extends from this? I am walking around the world aimlessly and gotten constantly out matched in PVP games. My T4 and T5 units falls like tin soldiers. They need higher unit levels but they cant get there because they are low levels. And the world is huge but I am still suck at the first castle.

You dont get put into player games until lvl200 as of the time of this comment(just recently lvld up). i cant stress enough how important it is to focus on seasonal challenges before lvl200. you can do 4-5 challenges per match before lvl200 and you will be lucky to do 1 challenge per few games after 200.
