This video is one of twelve videos documenting the complete Richard Burnett Collection of historic keyboard instruments.
Each video will focus on one or two instruments from the collection, introduced by Katie Derham and presented by a professional musician who is part of the Finchcocks Charity’s Educational Team.
The video provides a commentary outlining important points relating to technical features of the instrument, historical details relating to the period in which the instrument was built, including composers and musicians who would have worked with similar instruments, plus some personal insights from the presenters themselves.
The videos contain music performed by the presenters, which is appropriate to the style and period of music composed when they were built.
